I can’t believe using all those adjectives to describe someone who looks like a 1960’s Hippy. Then again, maybe the writer is too young to know about those days.
Her outfits are “Miami Vice” style.
Just put some pink flamingos in the background and the scene is set.
So glad the style folks are weighing in on politics
Yes I meant to be snarky
Jeff Bezos pays someone to write crap like this?
I didn’t know the Washington Post used the same writers as J Peterman.
We both adored the Edwardian stylings of the pillared dining car and the open air balcony. She strained to catch the mist from the falls along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
In the lounge I found her reading Panic in a Suitcase.
She was anything but in a panic; shed shed that burden when she landed in Durban.
Now, she was in Africa.
And its never too late.

WAPO pays Robin Givhan how much for this slobber?
She dresses goofy.
My reaction exactly — especially since the writer made us visualize Warren at the kitchen sink WASHING DISHES with Palmolive! HA HA HA!!
UGH!
If you can claim to be any sex you want and it has to be accepted, you can claim to be Native American and it has to be respected.
A haiku:
The gushing Authress
Has heap big love for Warren
Its propaganda!
Isn’t it sexist to focus on women politicians’ clothes and hair instead of substance? Oh, wait, Robin Givhans (is this Mike Tyson’s former punching bag?) addresses substance when she informs us that Warren is a “featherweight”. When I consider “Presidential qualities”, I know featherweight is first on my list. Is “feather” a subliminal (fashion) message?
Haiku:
They have vaginas
But yeah: nobody goes there
Except beard Huma
“I didnt know the Washington Post used the same writers as J Peterman.”
I snarfed my coffee !
I’m surprised this is in the Style section of the WaPo..
With the shovels of manure they are slinging such as
“In her own tailored, jewel-tone way, Warren has adopted the traditional aesthetic of male politicians, who signal their intention to move from abstract policy promises into frank, regular-folk talk by removing their suit jackets and rolling up their shirt sleeves. Men most often perform this sartorial ballet when they are standing in front of blue-collar workers”
I would have thought it was in the editorial.
This sounds like the same writers that put together the catalog for Mr. Peterman. (Seinfeld)
