This is why we need to back up & support this guy, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser. He is trying to establish an Islamic Reformation, much like the Christian one that occurred oh so long ago.

M. Zuhdi Jasser, M.D. is the Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) and is the author of A Battle for the Soul of Islam: An American Muslim Patriot’s Fight to Save His Faith (Simon & Schuster, June 2012). On March 20, 2012, Dr. Jasser was appointed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) where he currently serves as a Commissioner.
A devout Muslim, Dr. Jasser founded AIFD in the wake of the 9/11 attacks on the United States as an effort to provide an American Muslim voice advocating for the preservation of the founding principles of the United States Constitution, liberty and freedom, through the separation of mosque and state. El Paso which deployed to Somalia during Operation Restore Hope; Chief Resident at Bethesda Naval Hospital; and Staff Internist for the Office of theAttending Physician to the U. S. Congress. He is a recipient of theMeritorious Service Medal. Dr. Jasser is a respected physician currently in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona specializing in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology. He is a Past-President of the Arizona Medical Association.
AIFD seeks to counter political Islam the ideology that fuels radical Islamists. AIFD’s current passions include the Muslim Liberty Project(MLP) and involvement in the American Islamic Leadership Coalition (AILC). The Muslim Liberty Project seeks to instill the ideas of liberty into young Muslim adults in order to inoculate them against the viral threat of political Islam. The project brought together its first class of Muslim Youth in March 2011 with tremendous success. AILC is a broad based coalition of diverse Muslim organizations that provide a stark alternative to the domestic and global network of Islamist organizations.
Dr. Jasser is also actively involved in the Syrian-American community as the co-founder of Save Syria Now! which was formed by Americans of Syrian descent to put pressure on the United States to call for immediate action to end the regime of Bashar Assad of Syria and to help bring true liberty to the people of Syria. Dr. Jasser regularly briefs members of the House and Senate on the threat of Political Islam. Dr. Jasser testified before the United States House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security on March 10, 2011 on “The Extent of Radicalization in the American Muslim Community and that Community’s Response “ and again on June 20, 2012 on “The American Muslim Response to Hearings on Radicalization within their Community.” On June 24, 2011 he testified before the Constitution Subcommittee of the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives on the importance ofHR 963 “The See Something, Say Something” Act of 2011. Dr. Jasser testified before the United States House of Representatives, Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations on “Anti-Semitism: A Growing Threat to All Faiths” on February 27, 2013 and again on December 10, 2013 on “Human Rights Abuses in Egypt.”
Dr. Jasser is an internationally recognized expert in the contest of ideas against politicalIslam and American Islamist organizations. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The New York Post, The Dallas Morning News , CNN, CBS, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and BBC in addition to nationally syndicated radio programs. Petraeus is no fool. He was simply managing his career. To advance in the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations it was necessary to tow the party line which is Islam is the religion of peace. Muslim immigration accelerated under Bush, the president who held the hand of the Saudi prince after 9/11, and has continued to advance under Barack Obama who was educated as a Muslim in Indonesia.
Petraeus is a political animal playing the game. His public pronouncements now are all about currying favor with the media, the intellectual elites, and the liberal politicians who can arrange lucrative book deals, board memberships, speaking engagements, and consulting contracts. In his world, having been forced to resign in humiliation, he can only eat the crumbs off the table by prostituting himself.
This man is an opportunist, not a patriot.

At some point you have to draw the line and be prepared to enforce it. Islam must understand that we will not capitulate to them, nor will we tolerate their tantrums to coerce us into dhimmitude. We can either live quietly, and they can STFU, or they can die. The choice is not ours...it’s theirs.

Thank you for that information about Dr. Zuhdi Jasser. He’s a true American hero, not to mention awesomely courageous. He deserves tremendous respect and study. If Islam is to survive, it will be along the lines of his teachings. Otherwise, Muslims will be wiped off the face of the Earth - by their own insane ultimatum. The only thing keeping them alive even now is that most people just cannot believe they mean what they say. But that will pass, and when it does, there won’t be a single stone they can hide under.

If a "moderate" can be driven to terrorism by "anti-Muslim rhetoric", then he wasn't a moderate in the first place.
Odd, isn't it, that nobody seems concerned about stopping "anti-Christian" rhetoric, lest it provoke us into terrorism?
I try to post other voices or different paths to the issues facing us as a Nation. But I am finding my voice drowned out, more & more by those of the 2 main CORRUPT political parties & their fanatical followers
