You might be right, but it's a long time till November and don't confuse your own enthusiasm for broad appeal.
Don’t worry about the -isms just remember the clean never rubs off on the dirty.
yup ... shame, ain’t it ?
Trump already has the most votes of any Republican in the history of the party. There are still more States to go.
The GOPe Globalist are the ones who hate Trump, and by my estimate represent a tiny portion of the Republican voters.
Make no mistake they will vote for the criminal Leftist Hillary
First of all, I was a Cruz guy and am not particularly enthusiastic about Trump.
Secondly, you would have to be blind to not realize that Trump has struck a chord with a large chunk (but not majority) of the American people.
A small, enthusiastic group can often prevail. Supposedly only about a third of the colonists were in favor of independence.
There has NEVER been a President elected with broad appeal. We have had Presidents elected with less than 40% of the popular vote and 4 have been elected with over 60% of the popular vote. The vast majority of Presidential elections are within a couple of points of 50%. We have ALWAYS been a divided nation.
Back to my point, ENTHUSIASM wins elections. I don’t remember anyone who was excited to vote for Dole, McCain or Romney. There are people out there now who just can’t wait to pull the lever for Trump. Not just to defeat Hillary (I’m in that camp), but because they like Trump and think he will make America great again.
Don’t underestimate enthusiasm.
Well I'll admit it's better to have it than not.
"Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!"
Why is it not up to them?
No you come here to spread discontent disguised as intelligent discourse. Your method is as old as; Hath God said?
Yep like "Rules are Rules" until they are not.
Not quite. Trump is the **presumptive** nominee, and will be especially so once he passes 1237 delegates.
But you **CANNOT** be the nominee (i.e. no modifiers, like “presumptive”) until the nomination votes are ***cast***. Which has not occurred yet.
Like I said, words have meaning. . . .
Like I said Cruz lost, he will not become the nominee even if Trump were to quit and go home, so get over it.
