I always laugh when they claim Evangelicals (and women) are for Cruz not Trump. I’m in ministry and an Evangelical and all but 2 of my Evangelical friends and all my Evangelical family (which are a lot) support Trump and cannot stand Cruz. Most of us agree that while Trump probably needs to find the Lord, Cruz is the one insulting Christ with his speech and actions.

And I don’t care. I worked for “conservative” victories in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. Even when winning elections, how did those “conservative” victories work out?

Maybe it’s time we stopped looking at things as wins for “conservatism” and start looking at it like wins for Americanism.
