Difference between the Guardian whoring for Obummer and said Prez whoring his viewpoint. The general feel in the UK is that he should button his lip and stay out.
In case you weren't aware: the proper response to 0b0la's utterances is ridicule and rejection, accompanied by howls of derisive laughter.
I agree; now tell your pols to butt out of our internal politics. And no fake whinging about how America controls GB either!

Brits comment, but British politicians (certainly major ones) are very careful not to take sides in other country’s internal political issues.
My God, pols debated whether to ban Trump! They did that not necessarily because they had the guts to do it but to send a message to America not to vote for this guy. British pols are always mouthing off about American policies to influence American policies. Let’s not be naïve.
They had to: parliamentary procedure. After the online petition triggered a certain level.
Embarrassing. Obama, to his credit, has thrown out some of those petitions. We don’t debate in Congress to throw out idiot people like Piers Morgan.
Look, we all know that Obama wants Britain to stay in the EU because it is in America's interest that Britain is in. It is inevitable that a certain amount of US pressure is going to seep into the debate, but it's very unusual for a foreign political leader to directly advise the citizens of another nation to "vote for such and such a person" or "not to vote for such and such a treaty", at least in the terms that Obama used.
I have no problem with Brits being furious at Obama. In fact, I encourage it. As long as it doesn’t lead to the usual America-bashing, of course.
It’s hard to tell how this will play out. Against all the odds (and all reason) Obama remains pretty popular in the UK. His intervention may very well encourage some to vote the way he wants. OTOH, I personally think its going to encourage many more people to vote the other way (and, unfortunately, encourage anti-American sentiment). No one likes to be bullied or threatened, and that’s what the subtext of his statement was. Not only that Britain was going to suffer for leaving the EU, but that America was going to punish us.
It doesn’t take much to encourage anti-American sentiment in Great Britain. You guys are fed it in all your media throughout the isles and on a daily basis. If your countrymen are so weak as to follow what a community organizer from the south of Chicago says about international affairs, well, you get the results you deserve.
Obviously the main Obama policies that affect non-US citizens are foreign affairs, and here I really am at a loss as to explain why Obama remains popular, as his policies are ...well...erratic at best. I can only think he's managed to wriggle out of difficulties by saying the right words and putting all the blame on previous administrations.
This “magic negro”, has become little more than Sideshow Bob.
