"The gap is shrinking.
That’s a trend....."

Why does that even matter when according to
YOUR OWN WORDS
Ted Cruz is NOT eligible to be POTUS???

Cruz has screwed himself out of the VP slot. Good. President Trump will nominate him for the Supreme Court, and then we can forget all about him until he saves our Republic with his brilliant lawyer's mind.

If Trump ends up a few delegates short, he'll cut a deal with Kasich or Rubio for VP, and that'll be that.

There won't be a contested convention, and the Cruzbots' whimsical, unrealistic dream of stealing the nomination, with the GOPe's help, will come to an end.

Cruz might win at delegate wrangling, but Trump wins the hearts of millions of more voters than Cruz. I value the votes of the people over convoluted rules any day. I’d rather have a president who can gain the support of the voters than one who can work over delegates.

Wait until Cruz is blown out of the water in NY; the drop will accelerate, and continue to do so after PA, CT, etc the next week. Then money will begin to dry up, then it is over.

Voters use rigged Diebold machines in NY. The Bushes may just select Cruz as the winner.

So it appears the republicans will nominate their first DEMOCRATIC candidate. This will make history. Y’all should all be so proud!

Trump’s gain, according to the poll, is due more to a collapse of support for Cruz rather than a jump in support for the leader.

Trump destroying Cruz.

Cruz is destroying Cruz -his ego won't let him do the best thing for the People and he has resorted to some really slimy crap as he falls about trying to make his dream come true. despite those who still claim "Cruz or Lose" much of his original base (always smaller than Trump's) has seen some cracks in the guise of "Super Christian Conservative Champion of the People" and seen a more venal, F-the People, I want/Deserve the WH, side of him. Every "victory" he achieves by bribing delegates makes him a surer loser.

My property taxes on the farm have nearly doubled since Kasich has been governor.

The self-absorbed Cruz wants us to believe he's s-o-o-o-o smart at playing the delegate game. But what Cruz is doing doesn't take smarts. It takes deviousness and cunning by a deeply-flawed individual w/ no sense of honesty and fair play.

Rigging the system for oneself in full view of voters is not very smart.

As MIA-ecc11212 insightfully opined: "the stench of Cruz's behavior is not playing well with middle America. America is on to Ted Cruz!!!"

Indeed, we are!! No one likes a manipulative con artist....who professes, CONtinuously, to be a CONstitutional champion and a CONservative....when, in fact, he is not.

To be accurate, the first Democrat that Republicans nominated was one Ronald Wilson Reagan. I proudly took part in that process, and would have done so in 1976 if I had been old enough to vote.

Trip is an American nationalist, the first we have had with a real chance at being nominated and elected since...Ronald Wilson Reagan. Yeah, I AM proud if supporting him, warts and all. It is way past time that our government took OUR side first.
