I could see The Donald hanging ten before Ted gets his wet suit on..

He could hang 10, but if he doesn't have the delegates lined up, it will do him little good...

Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country.

Trump's annual revenue last year was 9.5 billion with total employee numbers above 20 thousand people. Cruz is good at at playing insider political games and getting faithless delegates, but not so much at doing anything actually productive to society.

Yeah that’s why we keep seeing long term state party officers as the delegates. Rope a dope game here. That’s why the GOPe is so smug they pick the nominee not the voters.

Both those numbers came out of your posterior, I presume?

This is the reason the GOP party is toast. They are ignoring the vote of the people while resorting to schemes to steal delegates.

that meme is pretty tired, doncha think?

“the rules” don’t award delegates based on proportion of the popular vote, in fact every state has it own rules and when the party doesn’t like someone, well, they just change the rules

so sad when the rules don’t work for ya, eh?
Remind us of what is Ted’s proportion of the popular vote again?

A lot of Trump supporters claim that if Cruz wins the primaries, he will lose the general election. I seems to me that they are overlooking how Cruz would mop the floor with Hillary or Bernie during the subsequent national debates.

Few of us have seen this side of Cruz because, by the time the food fights ended during the Republican national debates, Trump refused to participate in any further ones.

Cruz is going to lose the next 6 contests on April 19 and 26. If the polls are anywhere near accurate, he’ll lose badly coming in 3rd in most of the primaries. Such poor showings will set him up to lose again on May 3, 10 and 17th. He’ll be so far behind by time June 7th rolls around that only his diehard supporters and the #nevertrumpers will even bother to vote for him, and his poll numbers will be in Kasich’s range, low teens.

“Can’t run a campaign, can’t run a country.”

Can’t win popular support through the vote, can’t expect to be president.

But that would eliminate Cruz, so that’s a phrase that will never be heard from the Cruz Clan.

people who are willing to spend $3000-6000 to serve as a delegate

Campaigns can make it "worth their while." Perfectly legal.

Trump has a 50 state operation. Trump won 20, Cruz won 10. You want to nick pick certain states where Cruz have a better operation while ignoring the overall picture

Say goodbye to the Republican Party. Not only will everyone despise the party, only diehard Cruz supporters will vote for him in the General. He couldn’t win anyway, it will only mean Hillary will win by a landslide.

Good. At least we [Constitutional Conservatives] go down fighting.

“Why are Trump and his supporters so into the mud?”

Because we don’t want you to be lonely!

I would politely suggest this is foolish and pointless.
Even if Cruz won the primary, he would loose CA by 40pts to any RAT.
I lived in the Bay Area for 15 years.
Its unlikely Trump would win CA either but he wouldn’t be 40pts behind.

“Seems that Cruz is better at putting a winning team together than Trump. Trump’s ego got in the way and he failed.”

So where was this “winning team” in the south?

In Michigan?
In Ohio?
In Illinois?
In Virginia?
In Florida?

Can’t wait for New York so you clowns will shut those wins a mouths of yours for at least a couple of days.

Paul Manafort has more class than anyone on the Cruz Campaign and more credibility.

Really? Roger Stone's partner has more class? The man who lobbied for the Saudis against Israel? The man who was an adviser to Putin's Ukrainian puppet? The man who used his political influence to get $43 million from HUD for a city that didn't want it, just to benefit a developer client of his? That "classy" guy?
