No, but the establishment of any given political parties is comprised of its "employees" in the sense that they work for the party, to fulfill the party's mission, much as employees for a company work for the company to fulfill the company's mission.
This relates to the distinction between choosing a nominee and choosing the officeholder. The voters get to choose the officeholder; the party gets to choose its nominee, by whatever means it wishes. General election voters "own" the country as shareholders, which is not the same thing.
