Perhaps things would be clearer if the correct terminology were used. Substitute “sex” for “gender” in the excerpt above. Sex is biologically determined. Gender is a social-psychological construct, and can mean almost anything. Take back control of the language.

If a gay man can’t figure out what bathroom to use he’s got bigger issues than being gay. What percentage of our population is truly transgendered? And, what percentage of the population makes up the rest of us? The NC government is the humane entity in all of this. How can I take my baby into a woman’s restroom to change her diaper and feel safe that a pedophile in transgender drag is not lusting to rape her? The same goes for my toddlers and young girls. Before anyone knows it, the transgenders will have to go back to the men’s restroom to feel safe. As for me, I will go back to my car to change my baby’s diaper if I cannot find a safe restroom when I am out. And you might want to apply for a license to carry, just so you can feel safe on your way to the car with your children after you have visited one of these restrooms. John Kasich is a fool.
