There should have been more voting places, I agree. No one expected this huge of a turnout for Ted Cruz. He was behind 7 points in the polls and won by more than 20%.

During the time I waited in line, I saw no misconduct on the part of anyone. No arm twisting, threats, or bribes, as some Trumpsters allege. Everybody patiently waited their turn in line. Thankfully the weather was very pleasant that day.

I think some Trump supporters, at least those with the ability to think and reason, are beginning to realize Trump has a difficult path to 1237. Not impossible, but unlikely. Probably, no one will get a majority on the first ballot in Cleveland. After that, it becomes a brand new ball game, per the rules that all candidates knew about before the campaign. The odds are increasing that Cruz wins on the second ballot or later.

Had "The Donald" stuck to the issues during his candidacy, he'd be sitting in very good position now for the nomination. Rather, he chose to self immolate, and for that that, his supporters must be disappointed in him.

I'm not disappointed in Trump at all. In fact, after having everything the DC establishment has to throw at him, including the Dem party/GOPe/enemedia/Wall St cronies, I think he has done quite fine battling such a huge corrupt power cabal. He is quite the Patriot and has the easiest path to the nomination unless it gets stolen from him.

Some of you Cruz supporters don't even want to realize, Ted Cruz is NOT the principled conservative you THINK he is. He has absolutely demonstrated when push comes to shove, he will side with the corrupt establishment as both of them attempt to STEAL the nomination from Trump.

STEALING is not a conservative principle no matter how any of you try to spin it. Cruz has very little chance at the nomination outright with needing so many of the delegates left. His only slightest chance is to STEAL it, with the GOPe's help and with their nationwide apparatus. If he was also 50% to 60% away of the delegates needed, I can understand the delegate play but it's virtually impossible at this point to get it outright.

Now, it comes down to stealing and that is WRONG. The ends here don't justify the means, that's the commies/statists way of doing things.

GOP doesn’t care that’s the whole issue... Has been from day one. They don’t care as long as they keep getting theirs they don’t give a damn about America or her people. They will continue to sell her down the toilet as long as they and their backers can keep lining their pockets.

The GOP hasn’t managed to win the popular vote for president, with the exception of a re-election of a wartime president, and even then only by less than 2.5% of the vote, since 1988! 28 years!!!!! 28 years!!!

Yet here they are with a candidate that is finally actually expanding the base of the party and what are they doing? Everything in their power to destroy him. It’s codified insanity.

The GOP is done as a party for at least a generation if they wind up not nominating Trump. They know it and they just don’t care.. As long as “free” trade and open borders remain that’s all that matters.

Laura Bush, in a recent interview said she is for Hillary.

People make a mistake when they think the leaders of the GOP want to win the presidency. They want a globalist, socialist ruling the Nation and they don’t care if it is Repug or Demonrat.

Trump loses to both Clinton and Sanders so why does nominating someone besides Trump hurt republicans.

The Trump supporters I know will not support any other Republican nominee. After 30 years as a lifetime Republican, I'm done. Re-registering Independent.

and at the same time say they’ll refuse to vote for the non-Trump GOP candidate

The part you are missing here is that Trump supporters would vote for a decent alternative. Ted Cruz is NOT that man.

“They are depending on, like they have always depended, loyal sheep to hold their nose and hope once again.”

Can’t blame them really. Look at the beginning of the primary season everyone here seemed to want an “outsider” that’s going to take it to the “Washington Cartel” (Ted’s words). We were sick of DC and beltway career pigs at the trough.

Then it turns out Ted isn’t really an outsider. He no longer speaks about going against the Washington Cartel and all of a sudden, that’s en vogue again! Being an insider is “ok” if you’re the right kind of insider with the proper pedigree apparently.

GOP sees that huge (and hypocritical) shift from demanding an outsider who’ll fix DC to being ok with a connected Congressman. They see a whole bunch of people who are willing to be manipulated in order to stick it to another candidate.

No wonder the GOP feels emboldened. I think what GOP Cruz/Kasich are doing is sleazy. That’s the SAME exact type of politician we’ve all had to back election after election.

No thanks.

I’m backing the guy who has NOT been a DC insider. I’m on the GOP **chit** list for sure. I consider it a badge of honor because I believe country should come before party.

But, that’s just me.

I certainly hope your friends enjoy Madam President. These supporters need to swallow their pride and vote for whoever is nominated to run against Clinton.

Since Trump is running over 10 points behind Clinton, it would appear the first step to stopping Clinton is stopping Trump.

Better Hillary than rewarding a corrupt Cruz and the RNC with a victory. Liars don't get my vote and the Republican party has lost me forever.

You said it! I went from supporting Cruz to having HIM make me consider voting for Hillary! It takes a special kind of dbag to pull that off but LYING TED did it with relative ease every time he opens his mouth. He’s detestable and if they steal the nom for him then he’ll lose by Eric proportions.

After this election I am registering as an Independent. And I will never vote for another Republican again, even if Trump wins, I vote for him and I am done, Trump has caused the GOPe to reveal who it is, and I will never ever vote for them again.

Cruz will never be the eGOP nominee. Right now he is playing the part of Useful Idiot. At the convention the eGOP will put in Paul Ryan, their loyal servant. Ryan won’t win, either.

You forgot one component that is massive: The number of Democrats that would vote for Trump that will not vote for Cruz. Reagan would not have won without the Democrat voters.

Not really considering all Cruz does is lie and try to win by nefarious purposes. I will go further and vote for every down ticket Dem as a result of the LYING TED Cruz effect. If they back Cruz millions will insure we burn the RNC tiny tent to the ground and piss on its ashes.
