Why does this heretic pope even recognize marriage outside the Church?

For instance, someone could plausibly say, "In my country, I recognize that homosexual unions are legal, but I deny that they are valid."

And where has Papa Tango stated that?

I didn't say he said that.

More invention.

It was you who introduced that falsehood on this thread.

The Church recognizes the marriage of any eligible, consenting baptized man and woman, who marry with the intent of an exclusive, lifelong union open to the transmission of life, even if they were, egad, Methodists.

Marriage existed before Catholicism. It even existed before Judaism. It was established in Eden, as Jesus noted.

I introduced no falsehood.

Despite the heretic, Bergoglio , the Catholic Church has never recognized divorce and remarriage without a declaration of annulment of the first one.

"...the Catholic Church has never recognized divorce and remarriage without a declaration of annulment of the first one."

You are quite right about that.

This guy isn’t a real pope, more like a pope in sheep’s clothing!

The pope is clearly excoriating Christians for not “commissioning” sodomy. Otherwise he would have nothing to say because all Christians treat homosexuals with dignity as humans, while disagreeing with their demonic behavior.

Sinners belong in church

I agree. We homosexuals to come to church to be set free from their sin...just like all of us. And, just like all of us, as Church goers they should be subject to church discipline.

Quite interesting. So even after reading the Joy of Sodomy, you agree with Bergoglio and his queer ghost writer who also authored the text?

Heal Me With Your Mouth, the Art of Kissing.

You are seriously mistaken. Read what I actually wrote:

I hate the ambiguity of this document, which, I think, is where the treason is found. For instance, it is not possible to say that ALL those in ANY "irregular" situation are living in a state of mortal sin, because he never defines "irregular."

In order to refute it, the person doing the refuting would have to define "irregular," which makes the argument a mere tautology. This is maddening because of its mind-suborning ambiguity, but isn't technically false.

That's one of the things that makes the word "gaslighting" come to mind.

No one with normal post-secondary reading comprehension can tell me with a straight face that that's "agreeing with Bergoglio."

File under keywords: hate, treason, maddening, suborning, ambiguity, gaslighting

You are seriously mistaken. Read what I actually wrote:

I did; and I'm just as must disgusted with them as I am with Bergoglio's words.

I hate the ambiguity of this document, which, I think, is where the treason is found.

You have accused this pope of treason, I assume you meant it's treason of the Catholic faith. Am I still wrong with your defense of the heretic?

I accuse the pope of treason, and you call this a "defense of the heretic"?

This isn't worth my time anymore. Bye.

So do you agree, that Bergolio is a heretic?

If so, do you consider him to be a material or a formal heretic? If neither, why do you accuse a Catholic pope of treason?

Interesting. I haven’t read the paper, yet, but I’m interested to hear what your full opinion on it is. So far, I’m not alarmed. He’s saying the Church should accept blatant sinners & not degrade them.
