Either way you want, it as long as it destroys Cruz. There.
Proof? It would be EXTREMELY easy to prove. You don’t buy something without records.
Proof?
Of course not. Donald says it, his believers believe it. Without question. NO proof needed. The seriousness of the accusation is all that matters...remember that phrase?
I’ve read that it was Cruz’s campaign manager Roe who got the photo from GQ.
If Melania thought it was OK to pose in the nude why does Donald care if anyone uses the photo? Isn’t she proud of it?
Sort of like Reid heard that Romney paid no taxes for 10 years. Poof of this felony should be easy for authorities to get.
I know, my real point was, that campaign expenditures are subject to disclosure and just because we can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there if someone were sufficiently motivated to look.
In all probablility the photo licensing is a minor issue, what is more interesting is why they bothered to run it at all, since it was pretty clear Cruz was going to win the Utah caucus with a big margin. So why do the photo ad just before? If it was intended to work like reactive armor against what they knew would be forthcoming on the sex scandal, that just provides added insight into the Cruz campign.
Yep! that is confirmed that the Cruz campaign manger got the pictures. Another lie. Cruz is like a total amateur.
I once knew a union guy who regularly took bribes for jobs he did. He said very clearly if you are going to cheat do not get caught. He never did.
My advice to Cruz is if he is going to cheat don’t get caught. Seems like he is getting caught at every turn.
The photo is copyrighted. To use it for commercial purpose (not “fair use, educational, etc.” permission from the copyright holder must be attained. The PAC has assets, and can get their “assets” sued off for illegal use of copyrighted materials.
Yes, someone paid for use of the pics, and Trump has proof of who it was. He named the guilty party.
I posted the same story earlier this morning based on DJT ABC appearance. I am glad that a different media stream is picking it up and it has moved from a random tweet to now being on The Hill. This has legs.
So Cruz paid for pictures but didn’t publish. We know that because the pac published which would violate the purchase agreement.
Trumps wife posed nude for the magazine.
But Cruz is the sleazy one? Nude “artists” used to be called sleazy around here.
I’m still amazed that I ever supported Cruz. My husband kept cautioning me, but I didn’t listen to him.
So buying the rights to the photo isn’t illegal is it? It sounds like the PAC legally bought the rights for a political ad, so what? My point is if you pose in the nude ( or nearly in the nude) then you shouldn’t be surprised if it is used to question your character.
Let me guess where The Donald heard that... Twitter. Zero evidence that this allegation is true
Maybe Donald heard it from Antoine Verglas the photographer, or maybe CondeNast, or GQ or from his Campaign Manager or from one of his attorneys or from a whole host of other people other than twitter. Don’t you think Donald Trump has phones numbers of people that we don’t have?
Now this story has legs because Trump has put it out there himself...it is not a twitter rumor anymore.
If the Cruz campaign bout he rights that means Cruz knew in advance
before a PAC which supports this ad ran against Trump.
Cruz is a real sleeze bag.
This was never “confirmed” by anyone. It was put out there by a pro-Trump Twitter account, which has since DELETED the tweet (@Campaign_Trump).
If Roe bought the rights to the photo, then we have coordination between the Cruz campaign and his Cruz PACs that are clearly in violation of the FEC rules.
Well I asked Mr. Verglas via email today about the photo in question....as you are probably already aware, Mr Verglas has consulted his lawyers regarding the violation of the licensing agreement with GQ UK. But you knew that already didn’t you.
