Nobody cares whether a bunch of hateful, nasty, arrogant, malcontents ‘feel comfortable’ on a forum where they do little else but spew bile towards anyone who doesn’t toe the line of their phony candidate.

Nasty comments...what a joke...look in the mirror. Look at your posting history.

That’s why I joined FR, because we fight for our country!

Amen to that!

I think it was initially set up to gage where the candidates stood as things moved along....but it’s evident it’s become a loyal Trump thread for the most part. as many Cruz people simply stopped voting.

Also many Cruz supporters aren’t posting overall as much because it’s always met with a gang of people attacking the posters...so they just aren’t posting on “hot” threads which they fast become.

I haven’t seen the sites where you say people are mounting against Trump from Freepers here......but I’ve viewed some where Demorats are doing so....the lingo is always the same and they are easily identified.

My take: the nastiness is from both sides, evenly distributed.

When I switched preferences from Cruz to Trump in January, the nastiness from Cruzers (as opposed to Cruz supporters) had been legion for weeks.

I think the people who left were as much disappointed in their candidate being on the losing end than any other reason. Losing the general battle on FR for hearts and minds for their candidate was hard for a lot of them to take.

Unfortunately, this will not likely end soon. I do hope if Trump wins, the Cruz supporters get a grip and at least vote against the hildabeast.

Not true....everybody knows Trump has businesses.....sheesh he talks about them all the time. So nobody’s forgotten.

As for Trump taking a risk by running....frankly the man has nothing to loose....his company is in the hand of his family members, which if he fails he’ll simply continue with.

Regarding his word with the companies he’s dealt with.....most would say he doesn’t keep his word and have spoken out about this.....now many won’t because he may be president and they aren’t going to cut themselves off.

Trump said he and his family had many discussions about his run over the years....it was understood one day it would be an official run so they are all prepared and have been for the race we now see....you can be assured after “years” of planning to run Trump and his family have secured his assets. So he has nothing to loose...and in fact even if he doesn’t win he has still promoted the Trump name.....just as his daughter said New Years...”The Trump name will now be in every household Worldwide”.

I actually haven't been to those sites myself, but I've seen screenshots here. Odd stuff.

Like I said to altura in the post above, I've not seen much difference in the nastiness from either side. I think we all want to see the other side as the bad guys, so we minimize what our side does, and maximize the other.

It's over the top, I hope it gets better. Soon.

Thanks for your post. I almost did the same thing in 2012 for the same reasons. It just doesn't get any better does it? Phonies and cronies.

I guess I'm for Trump because I think its already gone and he is the only one literally shouting about how Christians around the world are being slaughtered by Muslims meanwhile Red/Blue team establishment tells me I need to look inside and get back to work and voting for them.

Sorry I'm tired of lying d-bags I think anybody who wants to know, understands what Trump is about and his agenda. Borders, Culture, Strength, Free Entreprise,

Common frickin sense

Quite Frankly none of these people (political/pundit) class deserve any better than kick in nuts Donald Trump is administering

Once again thank you for the post and the tone. I will do more in the future to tone it down a notch. We are just all so frustrated to watch this wonderful nation be destroyed and don't know what to do

Trump is sinless........ he does not have tales of 8 women

Thanks for proving my point. We have people wanting to blow us up or cut off our heads.......while Democrats at home want to continue the destruction of our country with their liberal/socialist agendas.

What are Cruz/Trump and their supporters concerned with?

Which candidate screwed (or didn't screw) someone else.

Good grief..........

With all due respect, I think we’ve already lost the country. The left has won the battle.

I cannot agree that both sides have been equally nasty......and there is a bad side that’s played out here far more than those supporting Cruz. Sufficient enough some Cruz supporters have left the site because of it.

I’ve not seen it this bad on FR before....Trump supporters telling Cruz supporters to leave the site...and Cruz supporters almost begging to not be zotted because they support Cruz over Trump and don’t want to support him.

It’s not as FR has been in the past....where no matter how heated discussions got you could still support your candidate....especially when so many Trump supporters say they will support Cruz if he wins...but they crush him left and right here.

If the nomination is stolen and all the Trumpsters and Cruzers decided to vote third party for someone like Jim DeMint, I'd be all in.

After cromnibus I decided I was no longer a republican I hadn't changed but those people don't represent me. I suppose I shouldn't vote in the primaries but thats not how the system works right now. And these people will have an effect on mine and my families life

When the republican party steals the nomination from either Trump or Cruz they cease being the party we have supported and I'm totally down for Going our own way regardless of Fleetwood mac. But only Trump would be able to have the ability to pull that off.

I do like the Demint idea but he far to decent.

I question if a fascist like Trump supports Liberty.

Trump is just a bad human being. I don’t want Hillary to win, but I also know Trump will get clobbered in the general election.

“Mouth off in somebody’s home.”

Is it your home, MK? If it is then I will leave.

I thought it was the home of Freepers and owned by Jim Robinson. If he wants me gone, I will go.

I will not go because some weak-minded trumper doesn’t like me.

WRONG.

If Cruz successfully steals the nomination, even now that he is known to be nicely connected to advancing the North American Union, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bush liberal policies, quintupling the *foreigners* visa program, the pathway to legalization for illegals, the Corker Bill, and is heavily, heavily backed by globalist donors (for years), and the Beck religious zealots, and is in reality lined up with the very opposite of every word he says, we have to vote for the serpent.

Long sentence there... to which I add that Ted Cruz was never known to be anything particularly religious, until he saw the TEA Party go by in the state of TEXAS, and rode that baby all the way to the Senate, lying to TEXAS that he had hocked every dollar of “savings” to run against his opponent. I heard it and I saw it.

Until now, we never knew of the GOLDMAN SACHS revolving door, back then. Cruz “borrowed” from one window, and was reimbursed by GOLDMAN *individual* contributors to his “campaign”, thereby zeroing out his “loan” charade.

Of course, he blames his army of lawyers, accountants and treasurer for the “oversight” and failure to file the “transactions” to the FEC.

Cruz is a snake, whatever you think of TRUMP hanging it all out there, Cruz is a snake in the grass, serpentine in every tactic, but we have to vote for the thief if he manages to issue his shrewd Midas touch on the forces of power on the Hill, and in the media, and in the White House, and on the Democrat & Republican machine, to successfully steal the nomination on the floor of the National Convention, with the use of RUUUULES, the delegates and the tricky gavel.

But, to your point, yeah, we have to vote Republican. Period.

How ‘bout you, though?

I totally agree.

All the little trumpers here either refuse to look at the polls or deny their relevance.

Trump is either worshipped or hated. He’s very divisive.

Problem: More people hate him than worship him.

If the trumpers cared about their country more than they do about their idol, they would go full bore to try to get Ted Cruz the nomination.

Ted could beat Hillary. Trump cannot.
