It’s very surreal that this is even a topic of discussion, wether society at large is supposed to bend and entertain the delusions of a few who live in a world of make believe.

This resulted from the City of Charlotte passing an ordinance requiring businesses to recognize the “right” of access from transgender people to choose which bathroom they would use- in effect forcing businesses to provide the accomodation.
The “push” for the city ordnance came from a group— which it turns out was headed by registered child sex offender (kid you not)... who was, uh, outed. Families, schools, teachers, parents, churches black and white.. all reacted for the potential for sexual offense against minors by these “self-selecting” sexual orientation ordinances. No “local option” on discrimination laws, and btw, on minimum wage. It would also cover... sanctuary cities... so this is really freaking out the Left.
Sheer utter lunacy. And the libs are calling this “regressive”.
Use a bathroom based on what someone “feels” is their gender identity..... not their actual gender from birth.
So, a cross dressing pedophile “female” could enter a bathroom, and assault a little boy, who might think he was a woman and therefore... less suspicious.
The point made in all the hearings is just how this opened up the world for sexual predators of every stripe.... against children... let alone adults.
I got into it with a lib guest on a talk show yesterday.
The lib claimed that the radio host and likely me and others had been using bathrooms with trannys and didn’t know it.
My retort was ‘then why the need for an ordinance?’.
‘The trannys want to flaunt it and we are powerless to stop it.’
That is, denying men access to bathrooms used by women and girls.

But not in Charolotte! Even in places like NC where overall, human decency still preavails, NC’a biggest city is the same sort of $hit hole that is SF, NYC, Baltimore, Chicago, etc. Good for the NC legislature! Glad they are majority Republicans. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope for the GOP.
Words have a gender, people have a sex and it is biologically determined.
Would you want your 13 year daughter sharing a locker room with a 14 year old boy whose nitwit parents have raised as a girl especially when he still has an intact penis?

If the law specifically limits the choice to "birth gender", it does present a small quandary for those who actually have undergone surgery and therapy to alter their appearance and equipment, if they haven't had their birth certificate changed (if that's even possible).
I would propose that single-sex bathrooms be reserved for those who have the sex-appropriate genitalia, and those who suffer from the delusion that they are other than what they are can use single-person unisex bathrooms, if available (and I wouldn't make the unisex bathrooms a requirement).
JMHO.
I’ve actually seen unisex bathrooms described as “discriminatory” by the gender-bending crowd. Which just goes to show that the real agenda here is to flaunt their perversion.
