Cruz has failed the 3am call test twice already. Once with the BLM protestors and today’s sleazy pile of garbage. He and his sad wife need to go home. (Not Texas.)

you are delusional, Cruz did NOT in any way blame Trump for the attack

He most certainly did. There is no other way to interpret this sentence:

It is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack.

Please. Too much credit is given to Ted Cruz ever being all that conservative, but conservatives proved a “useful tool” to ascend to power.

Ted’s clinically proportioned ambition *began* on the dark side and was noticed by every single colleague he ever “worked” with.

He was a liar to get to the US Senate, used his time there for pony tricks for the rubes, laid his plans to ditch his first term, and whiz for the nomination.

Ted Cruz has all the wrong connections out in the open for all to see, finally.

-- Ted's behavior reminds me of Obama... --

As long as we are going to use Obama references (someday there will be a parallel to Godwin's Law on this) ...

"Even Barack Obama hasn't gone from withdrawing from NATO the way that Donald Trump has," Cruz added.

“You be the judge.”

The EU has a combined GDP that exceeds that of the US.

The EU just landed a remote controlled satellite on a tumbling asteroid.

I think they can take care of their own meal ticket, at this point.

The time has come for the Europeans to take care of themselves. Kaiser Wilhelm is dead. Adolf Hitler is dead. Josef Stalin is dead. It is time for Europe to quit acting like a seventy year old infant. Europe nations, individually or collectively, can walk on their own feet. Carrying that continent is getting heavy after seven decades.

The US is not and should not be an eternal placenta for other nations, anywhere, ever.

I’m pleased to see oily Felito trooping the neocon colors again.

Internals must be down in Utah.

they vote today—a little late. Trump lives by the polls. As Alinsky so eloquently wrote, accuse your opponents of doing exactly what you are doing.

Cruz is no longer for anything. He truly has morphed into the Not-Trump.

Cruz spent his days early on in the campaign drafting off Donald Trump. Like everyone else, Cruz expected the Trump campaign to fizzle at some point and he would step in to fill the void. He let Trump take all the tough stances on the issues. Then when Trump didn't fizzle by the Iowa caucus, Cruz went negative against Trump. Since then, Cruz has offered nothing other than show what an oily politician he really is. Cruz lacked the courage of his convictions. He was willing to let Trump take the heat for leading on the issues most important to average citizens. Now Trump owns those issues plus Cruz. Cruz is reduced to being the spoiler in support of the GOP political machine.

One wonders if this limited to Cruz or an indication of what we can expect from the next wave of Gen-X politicians.

When I first read the headline, ‘Cruz attacks Trump’, I thought it would be a nothing burger, then I watched the video, I was blown away by the level of Cruz’s deceitfulness, and I’m not kidding, this level of sleazeball is beyond anything I’ve seen in American politics in Years.

So Ted wants to spend more money on NATO while the beneficiaries don’t do their fair share?

It's not that. Cruz just wants to use a terrible tragedy as an excuse to bash his opponent. Without even waiting for a single day to pass.

Like others on this board, I once had a high opinion of Cruz. My previous posts will show that. Now I see him as something between pathetic and repulsive.

I have to agree with Ted Cruz on this one.

Isolationism is not the solution to the problem of a rising global threat of world wide Islamic Jihad.

Especially since our President , Barak Obama is the major player who has legitimized, enabled and aided the resurrection of world wide Islamic Jihad movement that GW Bush defeated as a military force and delegitimzed as an ideological movement

I don’t know the intent of your reposting the NPR twitter ....if you are pro/against comments that Cruz/Trump are making.

I’ll just say this: I read the whole statement from Cruz .... sounds like DisgusTED is hopping on the Trump Train, although I don’t recall Trump calling for police to patrol/secure Muslim neighborhoods. I also don’t know how that will prevent Muslims already in this country from “becoming radicalized” unless the LEO types intend to live with the families, go to the mosque with them, etc. & I suspect even that would result in mission fail. How about not letting more of them come over here, in an already radicalized state? You stop the blood flow, then treat the wound ..... or better yet, prevent the wound from occurring in the first place.

At this point, either we should leave or Turkey should get the boot. Pick one.

Both.
