2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Christians should not be alarmed that the world shuns them and their theology in the last days before the Tribulation, but it is rather disturbing at times. Fortunately, our Hope is not of this world but rests with the Eternal One.

Of course Christianity is extremist, at least when judged by the current standards of political correctness, multiculturalism, moral relativism, etc. However, it is these ideologies that are the problem, not Christianity. A world with more Christians would be far better than the world at present.

I am old enough to remember the days when Christianity and Islam were in relative peace with one other. We both shared themes such as a common God, a sense of tradition and decency, a modicum of respect for each other’s religion, and the visceral distaste for Godless Communism, among a few others.

Once God was driven out of the schools and the public domain, just as Marx preached in his Communist Manifesto, it would be in less than a generation that other pillars of our society would fall including our notions of Family, the military, public decency and discourse and the culture would degenerate into what we now have.. Godless secularism, in-your-face deviancy, and cultural/moral relativism.

It is no wonder that Islam would look at our society today and see the Great Satan incarnate. Its animosity towards our country and the West in general goes far beyond the state of Israel now.

It is also no wonder that our youth, products of the government school systems are increasingly accepting of Communism, anti-religious bias and support, by wide margins, a Socialist for president. Today’s Bernie is tomorrow’s Lenin

This is just the beginning because the insidious creep of Godless Communism never seems to stop . It just goes underground from time to time. Today, the only cultural glue holding this country together , barely, is the US Constitution but that too is increasingly under attack. It will be the last to fall.

Wake up America!

Within the confines of this world it is extreme, always has been extreme, always will be extreme. Jesus promised nothing less. Being extreme does nothing to make it less true.

If Christians withdrew their donations and volunteering time from local and national charities, the absence of such would be sorely missed. I know that would be the case locally where I live and there are several Christian based ministries that sponsor food banks, thrift shops, emergency relief, disaster relief, job counseling and more. All serve hundreds of people and operate through donations of $$$ and time.

The fallacy of this article is that approximately 80 percent of the US identifies as Christian or Jewish. The remaining 20 percent are the extremists, by definition. Since they interviewed only extremists, any results they find are irrelevant.

Been saying what you posted for years - thank you for the post.

There will be no change in our nation’s path because no one is addressing the root of the problem: Marxist/atheist control of our educational system - planned by the Communists in the ‘20’s, and successfully carried out and implemented by their liberal/progressive friends the Democrats.

We now have a majority of our nation thoroughly brainwashed with a Marxist/atheist world view that is then continually re-affirmed by the media.

I know of not one conservative that addresses this or who has a solution. Even Rush only mentions it occasionally, but never mentions a solution. Mainly because there is none.

Even if Cruz (or Trump if you love him) is elected, the course of the nation will not change - it is too deeply imbedded, too pervasive.

But the church has also been responsible - for being a passive, mostly worldly entity failing to display the character and nature of Christ to the world while sometimes proclaiming the gospel - or a version of it - loudly. The early church was known publicly for their love of all mankind, and especially one another.......the world sees none of that today. The salt has lost her savor, and left a vacuum into which the Marxist/atheists have joyfully and agressively moved. The church today is mostly Laodocea........

Great metaphor. And even better, the Christian team is promised a GUARANTEED VICTORY.

Most Islamic countries since the end of WWII had adopted “Islamic socialism” and/or (in mixed Arab countries) “Arab socialism”. If there was any relative peace between Christianity and Islam, it was due to the military strength of Christian nations. The only thing that Islam disliked about the communists is that they force state atheism by violence, and attack all religions including theirs; other than that, it and Sharia are very similar in governance.

Islam and Christianity absolutely do not have a “common God”. That was one of the major lies put forth by Islam during the time when they were cowed by our strength, never mind also put forth by lukewarm Christians who had already succumbed to socialistic ideas themselves. Allah is nothing like the God of the Bible. They’ve always seen the Christian West and its chief defender (the USA) as the “Great Satan”, more than ever since the so-called “Nakba” (disaster) of helping establish Israel. It’s all in the Koran, this hatred.

The 1920s? It was in the Manifesto, which came out over 70 years before that.
Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.
That is Plank #10 of the infamous Ten Planks of Communism. Plank #1 speaks of public takeover of property, Plank #2 of progressive income taxation, Plank #3 of abolishing rights of inheritance, Plank #5 of central banks and centralized credit with state monopoly, plank #6 of centralized transportation and communication . . . how much of that has been implemented over the years?

Very true, of course......sorry for not being more detailed and specific - I was referring to their move here in the US and trying to be brief.
