If the Networks announce Trump has won in Ohio, that means too many other factors were present that made cheating Trump out of the victory too risky. (For instance, the Mahoning County/Youngstown, Ohio Republican Party announced that 11,000 Democrats in the last few weeks had contacted them to say they wanted to switch to the GOP to vote for Trump. Thats in only one out of the 88 counties in Ohio.
Next: Trump got a 20,000 crowd in Dayton, Ohio, and a 28,000 turnout in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday. Kasich, with an all out effort by the surrounding Republican Party organizations, got 700 in Cincinnati on the same day. Most of these were probably county employees, or their families, who felt pressure to attend. One present relayed that the applause was polite and tepid. No enthusiasm.

I think Kasich won OH fair & square. He’s a relatively popular governor there, so this electoral outcome wasn’t unexpected.
Before the debate in which Kasich declared he’d win Ohio, Trump was leading Ohio by a very significant margin.
All of a sudden it changed almost overnight.
I considered it odd at the time and I still do. I’m an Ohioan, so it struck me when he said it.
I TOLD YOU OHIO WOULD BE STOLEN!!!
I HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU GUYS THIS FOR WEEKS!!
They tried to steal Missouri last night.
I’m from Ohio.
He’s not that popular that republicans become brain dead about his chances to go on from Ohio.
As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I don’t know one single person who has spoken out about supporting him.
where and when?
There is no way that Cruz only got 14% in this state.
I am betting they stole votes from Cruz to give to Kasich.
Everyone I spoke to yesterday was voting for Cruz. ALL of them except for one younger brother.
“Hes not that popular that republicans become brain dead about his chances to go on from Ohio.”
Most voters don’t think that strategically about who to vote for. They just vote on who they happen to like at the time.
In all of the threads for Super Tuesday.
Hell, most recently, I predicted it would go late and Kasich would get it.
I’ve seen this happen before. Back when they used to post results live on the gov sites, you can see votes come and you can see votes go. That county that he is talking about? That county went heavy third party when Bush was running for his second term. In real time I watched (and posted it here) when they flipped to Bush.
Not anymore. Now they only post it once it has been declared.
It’s an enormous brain death that I tend to associate with low info democrats.
I’m in because the win was way to big. Even for a karate expert.
Is there a recount strategy for a primary? It’s a party function and not a civic function, iirc.
If I were Trump, I’d at least have all the voting tape hard copies impounded.
I heard they were stuffing the ballot box for Kasich in early voting. Could be, or not. I felt good about the other states last night, but, was worried about OH (my home state) Kasich isn’t all that popular here.
Then this explains Bernie’s defeat.
He was supposed to win a couple of states.
Can someone post this to DU to get them onboard?
We need both sides to scream about this.
I nominate you.
I checked out DU about a decade ago. I was on for about 2 hours and then they kicked me off. :>)
