After the 2012 election I saw Bill O’Reilly go ballistic more than once when a guest would suggest that the republicans need to increase their share of the white vote from 60 to 65-70 percent. BOR practically screamed “no one can get more than 60 percent of the white vote, they have to get more blacks and Hispanics.” I really believe that Trump has a good shot at bringing in a lot of white democrats who, for some insane reason, still cling to the idea that the dems have their interests at heart.

I wouldn’t be surprised. The governor they elected has been a diaster so far. People are plenty p.o.’d at the state level. If it helps in April and November, then good.

Could be. But it also could be that some blue collar democrats are pretty fed up with losing manufacturing, coal mining, and other industrial companies and jobs, etc. Obama and the democrat’s idiotic war on coal, gas & oil has put a lot of people out of business and permanently out of work.

I have no doubt that this is WHY the blue collar Democrats are shifting. But I also think it's possible that the DNC is pushing people to vote for Trump in the primaries because they want him as the nominee.

Democrats would give anything for the opportunity for Hillary to run against Trump.

The Dems and media never really liked Ted's citizenship status. Trump could have some skeletons.

Reagan was down 25% against Carter during his election year in March. Look what happened.

Isn't Pennsylvania where there were large areas where there were no Republican votes in the last election.

So we have Democrats who have voted for Obama twice in the last eight years, despite the economy and all the other shenanigans, changing their registration so as to vote for Trump.

We also know that the eventual Democrat nominee will be a socialist (either Clinton or Sanders). I have a feeling that they don't see where they can go wrong. Democrats do this on a regular basis.

They promoted and demanded our going into both Afghanistan and Iraq, but once in, they started yelling at the top of their lungs that Bush had betrayed them. I have a feeling that we will see the same thing here. They will trumpet Trump, and then turn against him once he is the nominee.

I've already voted in the Florida primary, and I will vote for Cruz or Trump, whichever is our nominee. I just don't trust the hype.

I don't trust Hope and Change in any form. I can only Hope that if Trump is our nominee that he won't Change, and revert to his past practices.

I do think Trump would be better prepared to deal with the media attacks than Cruz. Especially if he catches them lying or half truths or lies of omission.

Trump better do better than he did regarding his lies about Trump University's BBB rating.

Oh, wait, I answered wrong.

When I went to vote for the first time in Tennessee, I had to chose a party’s ballot. (You don’t register for a party here when you register to vote) Then I was affiliated with that party after that.

We can vote for either party in the general, no matter how registered.

I’m not kidding...nor looking for humor. Unfortunately until this election is taken seriously that is just what people are seeking. I don’t buy the Trump brand nor his cut out slogans.

"Cruzbots going to say Trump is a Democrat anyway"

the rest of the story:

might as well say "republicans are democrats anyway", too.

republicrat/demopublican???

what's the difference today?
