Coal mining is big business in the region.

An interesting side effect of this movement.

Hillary is going to have a much tougher time winning her primaries in the rust belt states.

One of the things I was looking for in Michigan was whether Trump's margin of victory was relatively high, and whether Hillary's margin was relatively low, and we all know she lost in a shocker.

I think a good deal of that can be attributed to the blue-collar Reagan democrats abandoning the Hillary/Bernie primary to vote for Trump.

46.000 blue collar voters making themselves ineligible to vote for Hillary in Penn. is good news for Bernie.

There was a post here on FR that stated that 30% of Bernie supporters will not vote for Hillary!

Coal counties provided a great deal of Trump's margins in Kentucky.

I didn't see that coming. He really ran up the score in those places.

Good to know. I wonder how “operation chaos” was supposed to work then?

Watching Trump go after Hillary will be one of the most delicious events I will witness in my entire life. What a treat.

I heard Limbaugh say today that Bill Clinton was supposed to speak at some event today and no one showed up!

Really?

Put up a big tent, label it Conservatives for Cruz, and see how many you collect!

There’s a lot of independence of thought in those hard working people in those PA burbs and towns. That should worry the democrats who say hillary will beat trump. a lot. bet it does

He’s going to need a heck of a lot more than 46K switching their affiliation.

Cruzbots going to say Trump is a Democrat anyway.

In 1980, I was one of those "Reagan Democrats" as was nearly my whole family. We've been die hard Republican voters ever since. I have the same gut feelings this election for Trump as I had back then. There is something happening. If he gets the nomination, you'll see a HUGE shift in his total popularity. Everyone wants to be a part of a positive winning team.

46,000 Pennsylvania Democrats woke up on a bad hair day and thought “Trump is our man”

No, they thought "WE SHALL OVERCOMB!"

Better yet, put up a big tenet and label it stupid low information voters for Trump welcome. See how many show up. Cruz in an interview considers Trump voters stupid and low information.

Cruz is a real salesman and knows how to close a sale! (NOT)

Well, I've heard anecdotes that the voting order of preference for some went Bernie, Trump, Hillary.

But I would be shocked if it were 30%.

I think are some similarities in the Trump and Bernie messages regarding government corruption and the influence of big money on politics. In the universe of all voters, there have to be some who are more loyal to that platform than they are to political affiliation. Again, I doubt it is 30% of the Bernie voters.

If speculation is true and the FBI is branching into a political corruption investigation as an offshoot of the email scandal, the race is over.

Catherine Herridge, who is the best reporter on Fox by a country mile, has been hinting at this for some time. I don't follow her as much now that I rarely watch Fox.

Trump has done an outstanding job so far. I’ll support him into hell if need be.

I think there were almost 200,000 more republican votes than democrat votes in Michigan. Those folks didn’t line up for Rubio or Cruz. I don’t think Willard’s election robo-calls inspired them.

Someone should look at sheer popular (not caucus) vote totals by candidate, might help draw some conclusions
