What did they offer Hugh Hewitt? Cleveland Browns tickets?
Hewitt. I want to like him - his very knowledgeable, well-spoken and he gets pretty good guests.
However, I have begun to understand that he’s long since been incorporated into the GOPe Collective.
I hope everyone knows by now that Salem is part of The Ministry Of Propaganda working for The Cheap Labor Express trying to convince us to give up our country without a fight.
Do you think we should call Hugh’s show this evening and ask him about this?
Yeah, his discussions with Duane Patterson about his cancer were disturbing. It’s his body and his call on choice of treatment. I found Hewitt quite insensitive and condescending on that.
Everyone has to make a living. They understand how to manipulate people.
Far more effective then the typical conservative tactic.
So they get a double win. First they get support of their agenda and then they discredit Co servant I’ve leaders.

Guess that explains why Salem refused to hire Jim Quinn for the morning show when they bought a station here. He would have gone absolutely ape-dung during a call like that.

The best thing about Hugh’s show was his Friday movie hour, which he no longer does.

That’d be fun. You’d have to say that you were calling about something else...like a suggested question for him to ask in a debate. :>)
We have been and are being manipulated. For the last 25 years what you see is not what you get. The Republicans are far worse than the Democrats. Let me explain. The Democrats promise or propose to their constituents things like single payer “free” healthcare, more union power,free education, legal reefer,citizenship,and a whole lot more. The thing is that if they could they would do all they mention and more and to hell with the cost. On the other side of the aisle we merely receive lip service to our values. They say one thing then refuse to spend their capital to make it happen. Examples of this are too numerous to list. Even McCain sounds good at election time. This not only applies to our politicians but also to conservative media. We made them rich and powerful and we are treated like dumbasses.I am beginning to believe that “conservatives” in power everywhere differ from progressives only at the pace which they want to bring us along.

I was once a Medved fan. Not any more. He always disses anyone who suggests that Obama might not have been born in Hawaii. I don’t know the answer to that question but I have never seen definitive proof either way. To not wonder is to be willfully blind.
I never really like Mike Gallagher, for some reason. I listened to him some during the impeachment of Bill Clinton. He seemed dismissive of the people who were on the side of impeachment. Still don’t like him.
Hugh Hewitt rubs me the wrong way the way he always sounds like he is shouting, and the way he was so McCain/Romney, and how he always addresses his guest by firstname lastname in the middle of his interviews.
