Boy, does Lonsberry ever nail this topic. Trump was baited by the media, the GOPe and Rubio and failed each test. He fell for the bait and got down into the mud with them. Quite frankly, it was embarrassing to watch. This is not how a potential president acts and talks in public. He had outstanding momentum, was building a great following and giving us all hope that we would forever rid ourselves of Obama, Hillary!, Sanders and Rubio, and it's all starting to unravel because he now looks like an undisciplined schoolboy who has to have the last insult. I can't believe it's that hard to look presidential on national television.

Get it together, Donald. We've got no where else to go. Not Cruz, not Kasich, not Romney and certainly not Rubio.

He can’t be what he isn’t.

Sitting out this election entirely. Perhaps in 2020, if I’m still here, we can get some real candidates this time.

Act grown up? He can’t. He can’t even fake it for very long.

His press conferences are toned down. Watch the one from West Palm Beach. Campaigns are hard. I’m sure earlier elections were much more fierce but they didn’t have social media. Watch a rally or two..once the bombast is out, he can cite example after example of real life observation and where he is on issues with ease and clarity in a normal tone.

You know, civility has its time and place. ..but at this moment. . .I don't really give a sh*t about what Lonsberry thinks his imaginary president would be like. I've noticed that about people. . .when you propose a solution to a problem. ..that's when all the pretenders step up and attempt to compare your solution to the perfect one that exists ONLY IN THEIR HEAD. But in the real world. . .the proper comparison is between the proposed solution with the one that presently exists (Obama) and is being proposed to continue (Hillary). Lonsberry's imaginary president will never exist. You want civility? then roll out Jeb, Kasich or heck, roll out Romney. . .all SURE LOSERS!!!

I'd rather win. . .I can survive the unsportsman-like endzone dance.

Bob Lonsberry SHOULD BE NATIONAL like Rush and Hannity and Levin

I had the great opportunity to listen to his show and read his stuff when I worked IN Rochester NY. It is a shame he is only local.

He is not only brilliant he is funny and entertaining.

The sad thing is the libtards set out to destroy his life once and almost succeeded, for a comment he made on-air (it was INCREDIBLY stupid OF THEM but it was at a time were Political Correctness was reaching its peak - today they might be told to go F themselves)

They left out “after 8 years of Bush”

The title assumes Trump is not acting correctly.

While the press tries to make his hand comment about something other than his hands it wasn’t.

Could explain why he set up the “press conference” style appearance at Mar-a-Lago after that Saturday’s primaries...an attempt to convey an aura of “presidentialness.”

[Now that you seem to have all but secured the Republican nomination for president, what are you going to do with it? How are you going to assure the American people that you are serious about the job, and that you have a specific and substantive plan for moving the country forward?]

It is very unsettling to me that Trump does not seem to be taking any of this seriously. He acts like it is all a big joke. All insults, all the time. No substance whatsoever. Then there is the fact that he takes flip flopping to a new level.

Trump will be a disaster.

In the beginning I found Trump's politically incorrect and brash style refreshing and I think it's a major reason he got to where he is in the race.

I do agree that once he secures the presidency he will need to act more presidential and I think he will do that. However, if you thought the primaries were nasty and contentious, just wait until the general. Shrillary and her gang of nutcases and freaks are not going down easily. Trump is actually going to have to get nastier if he is going to defeat her.

I do recognize that Trump is losing ground with a lot of women and religious people with his approach and that his behavior offends them. I hope that in the end, they come around and pull the level for him in November because the alternative is much, much worse.

These “debates” haven’t exactly been designed to allow for substantive content.

The people who say that Trump shouldn’t get “down in the mud” with others, are the same people who would argue that Trump didn’t answer the question, or ignored the moderator, or “lost the debate” because he didn’t protect himself or stand-up to the bullies.

There is no “correct” answer to these BS-debates! Trump has laid out many of his plans, and people want more, more, more details. Who in the hell lays out their entire hand in a poker match?!? NO ONE!

Once they get the nomination, THAT is when you start the REAL details. That’s the way it usually works, and should work, but not according to this person.

" Get it together, Donald. We've got no where else to go. Not Cruz, not Kasich, not Romney and certainly not Rubio. "

True dat.

Kasich in his time has morphed into Mr. Milquetoast Ohio Liberal Republican. I almost expect to see him show up somewhere wearing a Jimmy Carter cardigan, if he hasn't already.

Six months ago I was supporting Cruz but then I held him up to a little scrutiny and got this feeling like I had picked up the wrong package of pork chops at the meat counter.

Same goes for Dondi, for the same reason.

Oh, and look who else has popped up like a recurring zit, two days after Super Tuesday so he'd know who to backstab like the backstabbing son of a bitch he really is... and he's on our team...

Really, the Republican bench we had heard so much about had a lot of numbers but few gamers. I'm almost tempted to wonder what the deal was with Scott Walker. Time to go with what we got, and hope the dude brings his best.

Oh, and then unify and heal after the nomination is secure, but first clean out the slime and corruption and prune away the deadwood. It's a target-rich environment, as they say.

Sorry, there’s nothing new or unusual about this election. Maybe members of the uniparty, who have the same goals in mind (albeit usually for different reasons), have recently behaved in a more civil manner, but nastiness among politicians goes all the way back to the founding fathers; witness the very public hatred Jefferson and Adams carried for one another until their deaths.

This quote in particular caught my eye: “How do you show the people of the world that you are worthy of being president of the United States?” It is not up to the “people of the world” to determine the suitability of any candidate for president of the United States - at least not yet.

We know it's going to be great, we know we're going to start winning, but how. Specifically. What is your plan? In any area. Pick one.

There is a part of me that wants to agree with the author, but I'm certain that both McCain and Romney lost because of being 'nice'. GW Bush nearly lost for the same reason both times.

Trump has taken to the gutter against every other candidate in the republican primary and he's been beating them.

But the real difference between Trump and the others is that THEY also went to the gutter. They just did it through surrogates, through their PACs, and only on the debate stage according the rules of decorum established by losers.

Trump takes it to them in public. And they are having a cow.

Anyone who doubts that Romney viciously attacked conservatives when not on stage is fooling themselves. But he was a little kitten when he got in the general election.

WHO will attack Hillary Clinton on stage? Who will call her an enabler of perverts, a criminal, the killer of those killed by her treasonous handling of classified information, a liar to the families of the deceased?

WHO will attack her as she should be attacked...head on, in her face, and with truly righteous indignation?

I think there's only one candidate who will play in the gutter the way democrats play in the gutter.

That's Trump.

And any know nothing who wants to know about the details of his proposals from healthcare to taxes can go to Trump.com and read ALL about them in minute detail.
