I use to think h1-b visas were a bad idea. But after what we are seeing on colleges who would want to hire the sniveling cry bullies?

If you don’t fight for them, then why should they fight for you?

Trying to say this as nicely as possible: I really want you to think about some other “sniveling cry bullies” since behavior is learned and repeated.

They aren’t in the colleges. They’re picking out their apartments in assisted living facilities, or the age 55+ gated golf course communities.

I don’t think anyone understands how drastic the situation is. One more “oh let’s make it super extra special generational replacement visa” thing from these supposed think tanks and policy morons, then I’m going to start advocating something that will have people begging for the plan Paul Ryan proposed.

We tried socialism. It didn’t work. We’re going to try something else now.

Over 1/3 of new US bachelor's degrees are in STEM fields.

Please post a reference.

It's 40% for males, 29% for females, if I'm reading it correctly (even higher for graduate degrees).

But why are so many experienced qualified Americans being let go, they are still available?

All the more reason to kill H-1b visas.

"All the more reason to kill H-1b visas."

Yup. With napalm.

There IS a shortage of US tech grads willing to work for $25K/yr after graduation. That can mostly be attributed to the fact that they're having to shell out $100K+ up front, and study 60-80 hrs per week for 4-7 years to get that degree.

So maybe they can be forgiven for wanting a reasonable salary when/if they finally graduate?

H1B is nothing but backdoor immigration.

I’ve never known any H1Bs who went home after the contract ended. They have all been a springboard for staying in this country.
