Actually Trump and Sanders are close on the issues and goals. That is why they are kicking Buxx.
BUT BIG DIFFERENCES on how they will pursue those goals. Sanders, died in the wool progressive socialist. Trump a proven freedom loving, American loving free and fair market, non-Gope American.
Trump will achieve the goals with fair trade, a free but more fair market, lower taxes and regulations, giving back power to states and individuals and freedom. He will replace Obamacare with something more responsive to the needs of patients. He will give educationn back to the states and the parents. He will build a wall. He will limit all immigration and outsourcing.
Sanders the Socialist will attempt to solve the problems wit more taxes, more regulations, more bureaucrats, more control over your lives, expansion of existing programs with even more bureaucrats dictating every breath of your lives, more abortion, more deviant sexual activities taught in Federally mandated programs in the schools. More in your face libs running your lives.
Come on Freepers. You know better than to pursue this crax.

I believe in that. If you don't, then who is it that "shouldn't" have access to healthcare? Who doesn't have access to healthcare? People stranded in the woods, or marooned at sea perhaps. Pretty much every body else, if they can get to a hospital, has access to health care.
Of course, they may have to pay for it...
So perhaps the problem is that not everybody has access to FREE healthcare...
I don't know why this is a problem. Why shouldn't healthcare be like every other good or service in the World, where you get what you pay for?

There are a half dozen who make it very hard to remain (mostly) objective. I find myself wanting to kick their dog because he is THEIR dog, rather than the puddles on the floor left by that dog.

Easy answer :
- Everyone who does not want it, should not have it. That is freedom.
- Everyone who will not contribute toward it, should not have it. That is independence.
- Everyone who is in this country illegally, should not have it. That is sovereignty.

You want to make an unvetted socialist president of our country.
Now that's another damned lie.

I really find it amazing how people bitch about the weaselly political class, then the same people turn around an bitch that Trump doesn’t carefully measure and weight every word out of his mouth in exactly the same fashion as the professional politicians.
What do people want? Do they want to think for themselves and actually LISTEN to what is said, or do they want to continue being spoon fed the same nonsensical political speak pap?

I see people repeating that Trump said something about Universal Healthcare (or that Mika's question mentioned Universal Healthcare). He did not and the question did not. But people like to put words in his mouth for their benefit I suppose. There are a lot of legit knocks on Trump. Being disingenuous by using this story only hurts other legitimate criticisms.
I posted this before on one of the numerous threads ripping Trump for this. I guess I'll post it again:
...snip.....................
C'mon. Pretty generic question. I saw it live. Trump has said hedge fund managers should pay higher taxes and what candidate in their right mind wouldn't say that everybody who needs health care should be able to get it? Does Cruz or some other candidate really support people who need health care not getting it?
"That candidate is considered a political outsider by all of the pundits," she said.
True of Trump. Is there a problem with this?
"He's tapping into the anger of voters, delivers a populist message.
I concur. Still no problem.
"He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare
Does your candidate believe some Americans should NOT have health care? If not, who?
[and] he advocates for hedge fund managers to pay higher taxes," Brzezinski added.
Ok. This one, I'm stupid on. I don't know what situation hedge fund managers are in now and whether they are or aren't already being treated like anybody else with the current tax code. So, you get me on this one if it is some sort of bad, socialist, Bernie Sanders-like thing.
"He is drawing thousands of people at his rallies and bringing in a lot of new voters into the political process. Who am I describing?"
Well heck I guess he MUST be a socialist because he is drawing thousands to his rallies.
Maybe had Mika added "He supports taxing upper-income Americans to rates of 85% and beyond, Trump could have recognized a difference. Maybe had Mika mentioned "He wants everybody to have a FREE public college education", Trump could have recognized the difference.
So unless Trump's stance on hedge fund managers is some big pinko-commie socialist liberal idea, I see absolutely NOTHING you can criticize him for here. If hedge fund manager taxation is a big socialist idea, then I concede the hit. Otherwise this is a BS setup put out there to make Trump look bad and get all of those who disagree with him to push it viral. Try again.

Saying “believes everyone should have health care” and believing in “universal healthcare” are two different things.
Oh but the Cruzers will never admit that fact....

“”He believes everyone in the country should have healthcare
Does your candidate believe some Americans should NOT have health care? If not, who?”
Exactly the point I made.
It is a meaningless comment unless it refers to national healthcare of some kind.
Trump knew that. We all know that.

You are correct. I really should reign myself in. I have slipped into “wanting to kick their dog” mode. I actually like their dog, it is that dog’s fleas I can do without.

Trumps alienating news networks and threatening again to go third party that he’s isolating himself......and that won’t work to keep his lead. “No man is an island” as is said.
I won’t be surprised after this last threat to go 3rd party that the RNC threatened back that if he keeps this up they won’t let him in the debates. And why he “ran” to the MSnbc .

The sweet spot, for me, is the way Cruz tackles it. The more I hear him, the more I like him. The opposite happened with Trump. I left the trump camp pretty early on, and the more he talks, the less I like him.

Trumps great strength with his supporters...He speaks his mind. Trumps greatest weakness with his critics...he speaks his mind.
There are two normal reaction to Trump one sees.
“Thank God someone is finally saying it”
or
“You monster, you are not allowed to say those sort of things in public”
It will have to be seen which is strong, people willingness to acceptance of a breaking down of the political correct doctrines they have been socialized with for decades for decades, or their natural fear of change.

You were mistaken again. I financially supported Cruz but have not supported Trump at all.
Just going to vote for Trump this Saturday, thanks in large part to a handful of FReepers like you.

Just going to vote for Trump this Saturday, thanks in large part to a handful of FReepers like you. What could I possibly done? I don't use foul language or be rude, like had been done to me. I just stick with the same values I've had on FR since day 1. And a big part of being on FR in those days was Clinton. And we didn't like Clinton because he wasn't trustworthy. I still stand by that.
To: Resettozero
That is good.
Trump has donated to Cruz, or a pac.
