Wait! Is this one a “tinfoil, aluminum foil, or corrugated steel HAT conspiracy. I’m losing track of the HAT ALERT LEVEL SYSTEM.
Perhaps Trumps pick for V.P. ALEX JONES could help?
Why is any of this surprising to anyone? Scalia and Ginsberg were the best of friends. Scalia was a member of an elite governmental organization that long ago became something other than what it was meant to be. It did so because its make-up changed just like society has. Democrat and Republican, conservative or liberal no longer has anything to do with it. The weakest link on the Supreme Court is the one member who has the most to hide. It’s not provable, but I think Obamacare showed us how that works. Lifelong appointments to anything make for some strange and unlikely alliances.
I’m not aware of any threat Barry made against Donald. Do you have a link?
Yes, I know. I almost stayed there once.
That’s probably the only information we know to be true.
Who would have ever believed that in the United States, in 2016, a Supreme Court justice could be found dead, and there would be no autopsy.
I’m not sure why you think the photo is bogus. That’s not the issue. There’s plenty of source articles for the event that was being commended and the photo. The controversy isn’t with the photo.

Likely Scalia was there to meet someone who didn’t travel with him.
Or perhaps Scalia’s family knows things about his medical condition that isn’t being made public, and Scalia was there just because he liked the scenery.
Scalia’s children include several high profile lawyers, a military officer, and a priest. If they don’t suspect any foul play, I sure won’t either.
“Does anyone know the names of these 30 so-called friends? Has even one of them spoken out about what happened?”
That would be interesting to know who they are. I’ve read elsewhere there were 35.
I’d trust our SC judges a whole lot more if they couldn’t afford to vacation at a place like that.
He was traveling with a lawyer friend who replaced one of Scalia’s sons for the trip.
A number of Scalia’s children are high-profile people. It wouldn’t be easy to mislead them.
If you have painful medical conditions, as is common in
older people, it isn’t unusual to be taking numerous
prescription drugs for various symptoms.
No, Scalia wasn’t meeting someone there. Are you implying he was meeting a woman?
Scalia was invited by the owner of the inn and was to be accompanied by his son. The son wasn’t able to go at the last minute and Scalia invited a lawyer friend.
Where did you hear that Scalia was there because he liked the scenery? I’ve not seen that reported. He was there because the owner invited him along with a bunch of other people to talk allegedly about topics other than law and politics.
Because you hear nothing from the family doesn’t mean they don’t suspect something. To the contrary, we are hearing nothing from the family and absolutely nothing from the others at the ranch. You can’t even find out who accompanied him or who was there much less hear one word from them. The dog that doesn’t bark.
He was traveling alone: a son was unable to accompany him and bailed out at the last minute. When was Scalia invited to this resort? I thought he had not met Poindexter until the day he arrived in Marfa.
I’m certainly not implying Scalia was doing anything illicit!
Plenty of things we don’t know, and may not ever.
I will follow the lead of the family, who don’t seem to be the types to be trifled with.
The interested might want to google Scalia’s nine offspring.
I read somewhere recently that Bob Dole, formerly of KS, never discussed politics when he met with friends and relatives. Never mentioned his line of work; maybe he didn’t consider himself “political” per se. And maybe that’s why he was a national loser so often.
That area does have the most beautiful scenery in Texas, unless once thinks Padre Island is prettier.
You’re right. The scenery around there is beautiful. I spent a fair amount of time out there for work. Wonderful scenery. Every time I was there it was very windy though.
White liberal elites are propped up by the black underclass/criminal class... that's telling.
Then we have the Clintons - women afraid for their lives ... telling reporters that they're not going to commit suicide...
Who knows if white liberal elites killed Justice Scalia... or if they killed Breitbart... or if they rigged the system using voter fraud or if they sell top secret information left on unsecured servers...or if they lie under oath and think it's funny.
She planned to drive to the ranch - about 30 minutes south of Marfa - but returned when a U.S. Marshal told her by phone: “It’s not necessary for you to come, judge. If you’re asking for an autopsy, that’s what we need to clarify.” http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/texas-news/scalia-to-have-autopsy-in-texas-according-to-state-law/42898331
Why did a Marshall tell her not to come to the Ranch? Why didn’t she go to the Ranch anyway? She was on her way to the Ranch and then turned around - why? “That’s what we need to clarify.”
