Probably. But they should not. They need to invoke the name of that hallowed icon of the democrat party: Ted Kennedy. He politicized the appointment process with Robert Bork’s nomination.
We should just play by his rules.

And so there goes the first step towards giving up in the senate.

Yup...roll over and give Obama what he wants.
Why did we vote for a Republican Senate when it made no difference?
Harry Reid would have screwed us over but at least he’s honest about it.
Republicans have no loyalty to their voters and they have the chutzpah to tell us Trump is just as bad as them!

The scumbag who filibustered the Alito nomination is holding a press conference right now, threatening republicans against any delay in confirming his Marxist pick.

That’s a day longer than I expected them to last!

I’m ok with hearings actually, so long as the candidate is voted down in committee and doesn’t reach a floor vote.

“Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, said he backs Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s view that Obama’s successor should make the nomination of a lifetime appointment.”
Then why is he even open to having a hearing? Typical mealy mouthed Republican.

They can drag the hearings out 11 months with no problem. It might not be a bad idea.
