Hi AB!

Thanks. Yes, I’m afraid the Dims take back the Senate since there are so many more Pubbie seats up this year (just the reverse of 2014 when more Dim seats were up). While a lot of them are Rinos, and McConnell has been a terrible leader, if the right republican gets in as Prez, maybe he can get the senate to see the error of their ways. It would also be great if we could get new leaders in the House and Senate with a new Pubbie Prez.

Best,
Teri

we have the same worries.
s I think a recent appointment is well within the cards with this gang they are completely lawless. why would they all of a sudden want to obey laws or much less accepted precedent unless they are already covered.

I have consistently voted Republican over the past many years since they have assured me they were absolutely conservative. Then once in, they do a reverse and vote to let Obama have his way.

That me is over.

I’ll try Trump. So far, all I’ve gotten is lies; if Trump is lying, I’ll/we’ll find out. With all the others, same deal.

The two things Trump has won me over on is the common sense approach on illegal aliens (”They broke the law. We can’t allow that, or we’re over as a nation.”) and the call to stand down on accepting Islamic “refugees” until we have a better way to vet them (and personally, I don’t want them vetted, just kept out).

NO ONE else running has said that (until Trump went UP in the polls for saying that). Not even close. In fact, when he said those things, the other candidates jumped on him for it. As Trump said, we either have a country or we do not.

0bama can nominate whomever and whenever.

The Senate has to represent their State and their States desires.

Each can discharge their responsibilities without. being political

“Trump will be the nominee. He has pointed his entire life at this moment and has the skills and abilities nobody on either stage has with the courage to say what he and the American people think. It is not pure Conservatism, but it is pure capitalism. Capitalism has not been pure for a hundred years, but capitalists adapt to the draconian rules they have to play by and adapt which Marxism cannot do and he is the master. He will drive the purists crazy since he is going to do what is right in his gut, but in the end they will be based on capitalism which is the basics of Conservatism. He is like the bulldozer that cuts a path through the overgrown trees to begin to build a road back to the rundown City on the Hill. The next guy can pave it after Trump dynamites and builds a road back to America.”

“Pray America wakes”

BRAVO, well said!

The Supreme Court appointment debate is going to be the number one issue of the Presidential Campaign. I can only imagine the things Sanders and Hillary are going to say about this. The wrong appointment will hurt this country for the rest of our lives.

If Lindsay Graham pops and declares the Senate has to confirm whatever 0bama sends up, the result will be a wave election for either. Trump or Cruz

Jeb just can’t get over the fact that he’s not going to be the nominee

“This coming election is a watershed moment as crucial as 1776 or 1861.”

There sure is a lot at stake in this election.

I prefer someone get in there and mix it up like Trump. That’s uncomfortable but necessary. Is he bully? Maybe but those are grown men on that stage. It’s not a beauty pageant. We’re not voting for Mr Congeniality.

I want a Pit Bull that will shred the D.C. troughs the pigs have been feeding at for decades. I don’t mind the idea of a pro-America bully in the White House. Trump has more to lose personally than any other candidate running. He is laying it all on the line.

Trump is going to win. It’s going to be new for some people but he’s going to win. America is going to win in part due to that and in part due to the indomitable American spirit!

It’s just now starting to get ugly. I expect it will get a lot worse. Hang on.

The cheering reminded me of the way the Democrat crowds cheer. The timing was off. They were applauding foolish silly comments. The cheering was robotic.

I am from Greenville SC area and was really ashamed by the behavior of that audience last night. They were disruptive and really rude.I kept hearing clapping at the oddest times. When the audience was panned, I did not see clapping.

Why would Fox give Sanders air time this morning? Sanders is a Socialist who is worse than Obama. Something is weird about Fox news these days.

I don’t agree. If they cared about ratings, there’s a whole $h1tload of perennial guests who would never appear.

They’re in it to push a certain view. The democrat/Leftist view that 95% of the press share.

Making money is good for the stockholders, but just look how long it took CBS to fire Dan Rather. The best propagandists are extremely deep seated, and are hard to get out, like a blood sucking tick—which they are!!!

Trump defies this model, but I really do think the various hosts think they can finally get him, and are clueless as to why they always fail.

Like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football, with Trump as Lucy.

-- If you are a lawless president like 0 seems like at recess appointment especially one that Congress cannot alter until the next president would just be perfect I'll be amazed if he doesn't do it is that how it works? --

Basically, yes. It comes with political baggage, which might balance out, or tip in his favor, or against his favor. it also comes with historical baggage, which I'm sure he sees as cutting in his favor. I don't think one SCOTUS justice out of 9 can do much damage in less than a year.

I expressed my speculation, no need to repeat it.

McConnell and the Senate Republicans in charge have EVERY Constitutional right and authority to vote NO on any of Obama’s picks.

Obama is very clear on “ I will say NO/Veto” on his programs, so it’s time for the Republican controlled Senate and House to say NO on their responsibility of not letting the Supreme Court become a Rubber Stamp Majority for the opposition.
