Trump offered her over a million dollars, she sold in 2014 for 583 K. It was not her home in the traditional sense of the word. It was a 21 bedroom boarding house, districted for business where she also lived.
Good point.
“Trump wanted to bulldoze the home but lost the legal case; the ad implied Coking lost her home.”
I don’t see how that exonerates Trump. He’d have done better simply to say “That was several years ago when I was still a pro-choice, anti-gun, Clinton-loving, liberal New York Democrat. But I’ve changed.” Instead he continues to support the seizure of private property by the government for nonpublic purposes.
How is “Then the four year eminent domain battle in the courts.” resorting to lies that Trump did not fight a 4 year battle? “four” is how you spell out the number “4”. If one is in a “battle”, then one are fighting.
The bottom line is that Trump tried to take Vera’s home. He lost in court. In the end, it turned out better for Trump that he lost. Vera got to hate Donald Trump for many years. Vera got some money out of her house thanks to Donald Trump’s friend Carl Icahn. And the house is still standing today! An all around win for everyone.
Yup you are correct. Take a look. and the Cruzers wont even be able to ID the place on this picture.

Yeah so deprive a person of their property rights is hunky dory, got it.
Perhaps we can throw them in ovens and get more tax revenue, cause clearly tax revenue is more important than stupid freedom.
What's the point in having a country if it doesn't stand for anything.
I'll stick with Cruz. He has principals. He stands by his principals. He fights for me.
I didn’t say it was not an impressive resume. I think it is funny that anybody believes someone with a resume like that is not an establishment guy.
Interesting. Thank you for posting that link.
This from a group of people who have called me a strumpet and dropped F bombs on me. An idiot is quite mild!
Nope. It was torn down, but not by Trump. It was torn down by the new owner. I'm not certain if that was Icahn, I read that he sold it to someone else and made a tidy profit on the deal.
Wow to your second video!
Looks like Cruz and Biden have a lot in common.
Yep, they’re great home movies from the Cruz family.
She tried to get 5 million for the home. It recently sold at auction for like 350K. Greed was the old ladies game.
Yeah, I’ve seen it. Amazing stuff huh?
You mean the part where the Cruz supporters have been piling on since at least September and probably before about how Trump supporters are cultists, dupes, chumps, and have been compared to chimps?
Uh-huh.
The woman wanted 5 million for the dump. She turned down about half of that. Carl got it for some 350K. The woman was greedy.
Exactly.
“Before Trump announced, I was good with Cruz. What the hell has happened to him? He’s out of control with the dirty tricks and lying. I truly do not get it.”
He’s a Harvard Lawya who has his eye on being President, so as he sees it, all’s fair in love and war! I’ve come from where you were to where you are, and what I am beginning to see is that ethically, Cruz is just like all the “it’s my turn” candidates that the GOPe has foisted off on us. Furthermore, he’s pi$$ed off (kinda like Little Yebbie) at Trump for “coming in and raining on his parade.” But I will tell you this, the campaign to day would only be a shadow of what it’s become if Trump had not become a candidate. He’s single-handedly driven the discussion. None of the rest of these turds would be talking about the real issues right now if Trump had not forced them to. They all regard us as sheep to be herded, not people to be educated.
