Running from abuse to a pimp.
Thank you for your lovely post.
I hope we can dispense with that fiction. Your post made me laugh.
“It’s hardly surprising that the voters are revolting.”
Actually, the “clever incompetent” is revolting. /s
BTW, the four times Rubio repeated in the last debate that 0 is not incompetent, but very good at achieving the fundamental transformation he promised, are the only times I’ve heard this point made by a candidate. Christie, who hugged his way to 0’s 2012 re-election, silenced Rubio and everyone else.
Agree 100%
I don’t know who can afford 60-70% taxes to the feds. I work in healthcare which will almost certainly be federalized rapidly under Bernie.
Bernie will change the landscape here so dramatically that I am not sure we could stay here.
Simon Heffer is one of the better columnists in England, and he gets it.
Thank you for referencing that article NRx. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.
Patriots, quit picking on Obama ! (Everything used to be Bushs fault. But everything is now evidently all Obamas fault.)
Note that Congress has always had the constitutional authority to remove incompetent Obama from office, but has stubbornly refused to do so.
What is going on imo, is that corrupt Congress is allowing the likewise corrupt executive and judicial branches, along with non-elected federal bureaucrats, to steal legislative branch powers to define domestic policy independently of Congress.
In other words, Congress is unconstitutionally allowing federal officials outside the legislative branch do Congresss dirty legislative work for it, work that is not only unpopular or unconstitutional, but lots of it also based on 10th Amendment-protected state powers which the feds have stolen from the states.
By letting officials outside the legislative branch do Congresss dirty work for it, corrupt lawmakers are essentially keeping their voting records clean in order to fool low-information patriots into reelecting them.
Remember in November !
When patriots elect Trump, Cruz, or whatever conservative they elect, they need to also elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, but also protect the states from unconstitutional federal government overreach.
Also, consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
At least we have a leader to fight the Libs now (this is war if they haven’t figured that out yet).
If the next Republican President plays his/her cards right, castrating BO’s denigrating domestic disasters could be done in quick order.
Fixing the foreign policy idiocy of Hussein and Valerie will take more time. Much more.
As others have pointed out, it’s good to have a candidate who aggressively promotes and defends the idea of American greatness. Obama and his kind believe that it’s not okay for America to be great, since that greatness was achieved on the backs of slaves and other disadvantaged groups that Americans outcompeted. He views America from the perspective of someone (such as a judge) who stands apart and evaluates competing claims of fairness and equity, rather than as an American advocating the interests of his own people. In that respect, Obama is more of a globalist than a loyal American. That’s why he so readily undermines American interests when necessary to reduce us to the lowest common denominator. Trump, in contrast, is a loyal American who unapologetically puts his own people before all others—which is what most Americans want in their next president.
Similar to how four years of Jimmy Carter created Reagan, right?
