They don’t cry because they got captured and had a gun pointed at them for God’s sake. They are supposed to be warriors not cub scouts. Crikes I’m a puss and I wouldn’t cry if I hadn’t even got kicked around yet.
I’ll give our warriors the benefit of the doubt.
And btw, I know you do too.
“My thought as well. Frustration.
The Iranians are violating international law and convention by publishing these pictures.
We donât know what these guys orders were and its not our place to second guess them.”
So our muslim-in-chief and horserace kerry punish the iranians by releasing billions of dollars to them.
EODGUY
There is not enough information here to draw any kind of conclusion. I can see that this guys eyes are abnormally red.
Anybody can be broken down to tears if a professional is doing the dirty work.
Make the enemy cry, better et make them die.
Such a "tough" gal sitting behind the keyboard there...
There are also tears of frustration, embarrassment or humiliation for being used by our government, etc....
They may have been ordered to surrender and this went contrary to everything they've ever been taught or believed. Tears of frustration for not being allowed or permitted to fight them off, embarrassment in being captured, etc...
Knowing this administration, I am leaving nothing off the table.
Who knows? The tears may have even been induced by chemical means for propaganda...
Without hearing from the crews, I, as a prior servicemember, am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and NOT call them a "puss" until such time they confirm either way.
That seems to be the Obama policy. Have we yet heard anything from the Benghazi evacuees?
Check your FReepmail, FRiend.
Have a blessed day.
Had to be chemically induced. I mean, crying is not the emotional response their situation produces. Whatever. It’s just propaganda. It’s also against international law to display prisoners to the media.
He wasn't crying. If nothing else, he had just thrown up and eating some of that iranian crap they had on those plates.
That's what I was thinking.
More to the point, probably fearing the worst knowing the CinC is a backstabbing traitor who holds the military in low regard and will allow them to rot because he is a pussy.
Think if you were there in that position forced to rely on an at best unreliable CinC to get you back home to your family at some point - hopefully in the near future.
I think I would be worried sick that I may never see my family again, which I am quite sure would move me to tears at some point.
Oh, Lord Foul will definately call to congratulate his muslim brothers, a letter just couldn't capture his sheer joy for the embarrassment of American soldiers in the same way.
It had something to do with that money release. It had to have been some kind of side deal or concession or demand. Because we were about to release the money, then they took the boat. When they returned the boat and crew (minus SIM cards) the money was released. I have no idea what was on those cards, but the whole thing reminds me some how of a bible and a cake baked in the shape of a key.
Yes you are so right. Although I doubt Iran has signed on to the Geneva convention. Our sailors are not going to break down and cry because some raghead points a gun at them.
Could be a Circassian..
“There are also tears of frustration, embarrassment or humiliation for being used by our government, etc....”
So as a former service member did you break down and boo hoo over every little thing? Bootcamp was probably worse than what happened to those two riverine boats.
First the chances that that is one of our guys is slim to none. Second as I said before our military are supposed to be warriors. They don’t show fear or any other emotion if they get captured. Crying is a sign of weakness I don’t care how humiliated you are. I have not been in the military but I have had a gun pointed at me and I didn’t break down and boo hoo. That’s why I doubt that picture is our guy.
My very first thought! Those are pepper spray eyes.
