Karl Cameron said the potential military vote in SC is 400,000?

Wow. There should be a discussion among vets like never before. A "Get out the Vet Vote" could catch on. Drive a vet to the voting booth. Get the WWII and Korea guys out, drive them yourself. . Get it going like a project and show up on primary day! "We shall fight them on the beaches. . ."

......”What happens when the unstoppable Trump meets the immovable Cruz? .......

As we know Cruz does not rattle by Trump and Trump knows this. However their is a strong foundation and inner man in Cruz which the Don doesn’t have, it will be interesting to see how THAT man deals with Trump. ...He’s quite accustomed to “wrestling” with man as he did with Jacob.....or meeting up with them as HE did Saul on the road to Damascus. It could prove interesting indeed.

Yet this is a race for the Leader of this Nation...and we know it is God who raises up one and takes down another. Cruz has not yet risen to the height in the election I believe he will, and this when it matters that he does, not when man thinks it should be. ...

....on the other hand Trump ‘appears’ to be at the top in the judgement of men currently, but one has to ‘up his game’ to sustain that lead.... So far Trumps ‘still’ reporting news headlines and article talking points he gleans along the way , coupled with his repetitive buzz and word salads to sustain his fan base. But they may be happy campers in Trumps shadow without anything more than that.

As another poster stated, this isn’t your grandma’s democrat party we’re fighting. Lou Dobbs stood up for US sovereignty, and got repaid with a drive-by shooting attempt on his house while his whole family was inside. Not even the MOB were that crass.

You can’t use up the fingers on one hand counting the number of major public figures in this country who have been willing to stick their neck out in the last 20 years. Trump may not end up in the gutter if he loses, but that doesn’t mean he’s not taking a huge personal risk. You don’t think Hillary wouldn’t love to sic her flying monkeys in the IRS on him if she gets in? You don’t think the wheels are already in motion to destroy him and his family? You don’t think some deranged loon or another wouldn’t love to put a bullet in him or destroy his business?

My take on it is that Trump is either running one squeaky-clean ship, or he has enough dirt on the uniparty to bring the whole thing down when the lights come on.

Worrying about style points is what “liberals” do. I’m sorry, but all of the other candidates on the GOP side are suspect at the very least. I was all in for Cruz until his TPP vote. I don’t care what magic beans he was promised or from who - I’m out. I might vote for him if he got the nomination, but that’s as far as it goes. I am done trusting Ivy League indoctrinates with the rudder. There appears to be not a soul within the existing party other than Jeff Sessions willing and able to stand for anything and he is needed in Congress.

There used to be 2 parties in DC. The party of treason, and the party of stupid. There is no longer any difference between the two. It’s time to fumigate all 3 branches of government. That’s going to take someone (a few ‘someones’, really) with a certain level of autonomy, ego, and courage. We also need people who have actually had to function outside the DC/Wall St/Tech echo-chamber. I just don’t see that in any of the other candidates.

I keep reading articles like that below...how he is disliked.
too much smoke not to be a fire:

Alumni, roommates, law clerks, former staffers in the George W. Bush campaign and White House (and the president himself), members of Congress and others who have known Cruz — lots and lots of people — consider him socially awkward, nasty, dishonest
httpest, a blatant apple-polisher and all-around creepy guy. You can write off a few of these critics as jealous of his success, or liberal antagonists, but all of them? There is something badly amiss here. Cruz, who so obviously lacks emotional intelligence, cannot recognize it, but those closest to him surely must see that something is awry...

Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes.
Ted Cruz came to Washington two-and-a-half years ago pledging to be the anti-senator. But he’s been more like the no-show senator.
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes in what has been a Senate career long on rhetoric and short on Senate business.
He’s skipped the vast majority of Armed Services Committee hearings, is below-average in attendance on his other major committees and ranks 97th during the first three months of this year in showing up for roll call votes on the Senate floor. ... -Read more: Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen

This is all too much. I used to be for Cruz VP, but no more-
Newt or West for VP

No way on earth that Cruz can win a general election ... Cruz cannot even beat Sanders ... if you think the MSM went after Palin hard , guess what they would do to Cruz

I don't mean to be rude, but could you be a bit more descriptive than just saying I recognize that many of the things he says .

Let me ask you this. If it came down to Ted Cruz vs Sanders or Killary, would you obstain, or would you actually want a conservative in the WH to reverse us from the hellhole we are in?

All the rest can be viewed as anti-Trump. Even Cruz benefits the RNC. The RNC can find Cruz unqualified, and take his delegates. The only way Trump survives is to take out every single opponent, and be in position to take the nomination on the first ballot at the convention. If he doesn’t do that, Ryan will be nominated.
