Its hard to prove you are a citizen when you don’t have a birth certificate.
That is what Cruz’s leadership help produce as an actual action rather than a hypothesis offered on Free Republic by those endlessly fascinated with impugning cruz.

WRONG! As long as the family lived in Canada, that child's direct allegiance was to the Canadian government. ONLY when the family return to the US did Ted's derivative citizenship become applicable.

Cruise is Naturally Born US Citizen by the fact that his FREAKING MOTHER WAS AN AMERICAN. Cruz was a citizen by birth of Canada, which also has birthright citizenship. Cruz was a dual citizen of Canada and the US until he formally renounced his Canadian citizenship in May 2014.
Cruz received his derivative citizenship thru his American citizen mother. In order to receive that citizenship, you have to apply for it and meet certain conditions. Not everyone born abroad to an American citizen mother can have citizenship transmitted to them.

“this makes him a Naturalized citizen”
If he can prove that he is a naturalized citizen.
We know the marxist muslim in the white hut never could.
To: patlin
Yes, there has been for a long time bills presented at every session of Congress to end birthright citizenship. None of them would be retroactive.

This is so incredibly stupid to nitpick over someone saying that it will likely take a constitutional amendment to change it to being open to either that or using legislation if it can make it through the courts.
Why don't we talk about a MAJOR FLIP FLOP such as being in favor of allowing the STABBING of babies in the neck and sucking out their brains just before they are born to somehow being pro-life.

"Sundance," pro-Clinton/Trump hack from TheConservativeTtreehouse.com, is Mark Ivor Bradman. He's got a long and notorious history of "getting it wrong"
Then so does Mark Levin:

So, Souled_Out,
How does Cruz not meet the requirements of a Natural Born US Citizen?

” A Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) is official evidence of United States citizenship, issued to a child born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents, who meet the requirements for transmitting citizenship under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).. “
There is a paper trail, Ted sealed the records because he is not a natural born citizen.
_________________________________________________________
Exactly right..I question the existence of a CRBA..they say he has one..why seal it?

How much do we really know about this foreign born Canadian?
One of the things Cruz would like you to forget:
His father fought along side Fidel Castro
Also, Cruz believes Social Security is a "Ponzi scheme". Cruz, in a 2011 interview with the Texas Tribune, agreed that Social Security was indeed a "Ponzi scheme." He proposed three-part plan:
Raise the Social Security retirement age
cut future benefits,
privatize much of the program.
A similar privatization proposal by President George W. Bush died at the hands of a solidly-Republican Congress in 2005

Let's face it Cruz is POS
Everyone with 3 brain cells to rub together knows he's not eligible. Rafael knows he's not eligible.
Why is the POS canadian cuban creep running for President of the United States?

>>>He was against birthright citizenship and says it will probably take a constitutional amendment to change it.<<<
As a Cruz guy, he disappoints me with his take on Birthright (Anchor Baby) Citizenship.
All it takes is an Act of Congress to clarify the Law, not a Constitutional Amendment.
In this case, Trump has it right and Cruz has it wrong, very wrong.

" Ted Cruz as a minor child of an American citizen was under the jurisdiction of the United States from the day he was born. "
Wrong, how did Ted get a Social Security number from the United States when he was born in Canada?

There are 300,000 children born to illegal aliens annually. In addition there is birth tourism that brings in thousands annually to have their children in the US thus receiving US citizenship at birth. They are issued US passports and them return home. It is an insurance policy for the family.
This is not a minor issue. The children of illegal aliens as American citizens are entitled to food stamps, Medicaid, housing assistance, etc.

Did you not actually read what I wrote ... these attempts were NOT to end birthright citizenship, but instead would have embedded it into our laws, that ALL anchor babies would be considered natural born citizens, and ALL babies born abroad to 1 US citizen parent would be considered ‘natural born’ citizens.
This means that Congress DOES know the truth, it is just that they do not like the truth. Neither does Mark Levin, that is in respect to candidates he (under his breath) endorses.
