Actually, March 1 (Super Tuesday) is the big day. 601 delegates will be up for grabs - 332 in just four states (TX, TN, VA, GA), and 155 alone in TX, whereas in the month run-up to that day, IA, NH, SC, and NV combine for only 127 (27, 20, 50, and 30 respectively). A lead of one after just 27 have been allocated is almost meaningful... but after 728, not so much.
361 are up for grabs on March 15, and 296 between March 2-14.

Between now and Super Tuesday, Trump should run out to a decent lead... but TX alone should catch Cruz back up. CBS had TX going to Cruz 45-30 last week
The most recent VA poll I can find has Carson beating Trump 29-23 (Cruz 10).
Georgia, Trump 39-29
Tennessee, Trump 33-17.
And do not forget that the GOP changed the rules after the TEA Party scares of 2012, and mandated that NO state will be "winner-take-all" until after March 16, basically at the halfway mark.
Still larger than any crowd ‘Cruz the snake handler’ has managed to draw on his own.

I’m guessing the “fire marshal” is probably referencing the number of tickets that were passed out for the event. I don’t really even blame Trump, honestly. He only knows what he’s told.

One of Trump’s favorite bits is to criticize the “dishonest” media for not panning their cameras around to show the size of the crowd.
So, if the crowd was actually not as huge as Trump claimed, you would think that the “dishonest” media would have gladly panned around to show all the empty seats.

Isn’t it amazing that almost everyone has a phone that takes pics, and not one Trump supporter there had a phone to take a pic of the overflow crowd! Mr Trump needs to buy some for his fans so they can take pics of his overflow crowds!

The crowd size, including those on the center floor, probably exceeded 6,000... but the claim that it broke attendance records is a stretch.

I had seen the video and Trump said fire marshall and the Daily mail said the same thing...thank you for correcting that...
