Very true. It needs crop rotation or heavy fertilizer — you can’t just keep growing corn over and over.
My father’s very traditional, he rotates his crops and while many planted corn, corn corn with the ethanol boom, he continued to rotate and planted soy beans. He ended up making a lot of money when the price of soybeans went up due to the lack of supply ..
