So, is Cruz’s apology evidence of repentance?
Or do we read into his mind and heart and say that he is simply an opportunist as some are wont to do?

Well, when Steve Harvey made a boo boo in the Miss Universe contest and mistakenly gave the crown to Miss Columbia ( when the real winner was Miss Philippines ), Trump made a remark saying that if it were up to him, he’d crown the two ladies CO-WINNERS.
So why not?

If by forgiving, you are telling me to overlook what they did and restore a previously good relationship to what it was, NO. It cannot be done.
If by forgiveness you are telling me to overlook what he did and not take revenge, sure, I can do that. But that does not mean that our relationship will be restored.
EDIT TO ADD — and if you are telling me that God will forgive a sinner who adamantly refuses to repent of his sins, I don’t see that in the Bible.

There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much cheating, dirty tricks, false statements, media manipulation, etc., etc. in this presidential race ON BOTH SIDES, I’m ashamed of all of them. In the end, it will be the two candidates who cheat and lie the most who eventually wind up on the ballots in November and once again, the AMERICAN PEOPLE will be the ones who lose.

So let’s get one thing straight, it’s your contention that God has chosen Donald Trump to lead the USA?
When did he do this, and how was this revealed to you?
Trump is the one who kept calling Carson pathological, like a child molester who could never change.
I find it unusual that a man would fly our of Iowa all the way to Florida just for some clothes. I just can't get my head around that.
1. he knew how long he would be out on the trail, pack accordingly.
2. he knew exactly how long he would be in Iowa and where he would go next.
3. he could have purchased new clothes at a local store, cheaper than using campaign money to fly home and back.
4. Why didn't Carson make it clearer to his staff when he left?
5. Why didn't the staff stop the voting the minute they said they heard someone say Carson has quit?
Something/or someone was working deeper and setting up mischief to blame on Cruz more than we know at this time.

What I want to know is was this correction discussed and it was decided to let the lie continue until the voting was over?

While I like Ben Carson, his campaign should have gone after CNN as soon as CNN reported that Ben was dropping out of the race.

Mark Levin is reporting tonight that Carson sent a fund raising letter to his supporters mentioning the dirty tricks campaign against him. He mentioned CNN. No mention of Cruz at all.
Also, Levin says that Carson isn’t going to New Hampshire until Saturday.
Wonder how you campaign in New Hampshire with just two days left before the votes.
