Carson also asked what were the repercussions of Cruz admitting his wrongdoing. We have yet to hear anything from Cruz except he won’t fire anyone. Standard Washington operating procedure.

RE: That was referring to the violent incidents before Carson was saved?

There was no mention of his being saved or not.

Donald Trump lashed out at Ben Carson, likening his “pathological” temperament to that of a child molester’s.

In politics apology = accepting blame.

If Cruz supposedly did nothing wrong, then why apologize?

Forgiveness doesn't mean you don't ask for reparations.

Well for goodness sake you’d think that Cruz would have said he was going to have a good talk with some of his folks.

THEY didn’t have to mention it for it to be a statement of fact.

Carson could say sure, I was sick. With sin.

This is a standard salvational testimony.

Would Trump respect that if Carson threw support to him?

Just things that make one say HMMMMMMMMMM.

RE: THEY didn’t have to mention it for it to be a statement of fact.

Still, Trump used the word “Pathological”.

This implies that if you would not want your child near a child molester, you wouldn’t want someone with a temper with his finger on the bomb.

The issue is not with Carson, who is always a gentleman, the issue is with Trump himself.

But shall Gentle Ben ever be given the credit and respect due him for what is by all standards a very gracious act on his part?

The good doctor takes an inordinate amount of abuse at times, but in every other respect, save one, he is just about the most qualified man to serve in the restored glory of the Oval Office. Sometimes he is just a little TOO nice to his rivals, and they take ruthless advantage of it.

Trump didn’t understand, whether on purpose or because he couldn’t.

Carson understands, and can be gracious about it in the context of a gospel witness, which Trump badly needs to be able to accept.

RE: If Cruz supposedly did nothing wrong, then why apologize?

It was a mistake on the part of his campaign, not a statement of admission of malice personally.

Dr Carson further said in the interview that the private Trump was extremely considerate, generous, gentle and FUN. With a huge grin and twinkle in his eye. The next day ALICE Cooper who plays in the trump foursome echoed those words and compared it to his Rock image and his personal self-— 40 years sober, 30 years marriage , born again Christian , work with troubled youth
What I thought ironic was the smile both had when they said FUN !

What if Carson audaciously forgave Trump?

Just to keep this all in perspective, the Cruz campaign relayed that that CNN HAD REPORTED that Carson was withdrawing.

Not really the same thing.

Cruz apologized.

I can’t see Trump ever apologizing about anything. Not cowering before the media is one thing. But Trump’s arrogance, bombast and nastiness is hard to take sans any moderation.

RE: Trump didn’t understand, whether on purpose or because he couldn’t.

And that my friend, is the reason why despite the important issues that he stands for, he is WAY DOWN on the list of candidates I would support.

In fact, I will only vote for him as a last resort -— if it comes down to him vs Hillary or Sanders.

And I would hold my nose doing it, knowing that I am voting AGAINST the Democrat, not for him.

RE: What if Carson audaciously forgave Trump?

I don’t know, forgiveness has to come hand in hand with repentance.

Forgiving an unrepentant person does not do that person any good at all.

Could there be a Trump/Carson ticket?
///////////////////////////////////////

If Trump were to win, I would love to see Carson as VP. Carson is an incredible man with much wisdom. He may not speak often or loudly, but nearly everything he says is spot on.

No need to forgive if it was a staged kabuki to keep others of knowing of their friendship. Trump may have even asked Ben where should I hit?

Like he vanilla milkshakes with O Really. They can’t appear to be the best friends - let’s go to the game Saturday - on TV, that they are in personal life.

Ben has no intention of becoming President. That’s what all the grain-in-the-pyramids was about. He had to put a ringer in to step back. He does have a purpose in running. Just wait
