It interesting the that the usual screaming hysterics want to make an issue of the law despite its irrelevance in a Presidential election.
If you don’t like the law, work to change it.
But that not the real issue, the real issue is the hysterics around here just need something to scream at Trump about. If they cannot find a real issue, they will find a non issue like this to squeal about.
Exactly.
Except, of course, he works out a “deal” with Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer to let in only 750,000 per year instead of 1,000,000 a year.
Unless, of course, you still consider that “beating them.”
“Emminent Domain is wonderful!”

Cities have the “right to condemn” to build his casino...

I read that History. Excellent.
Which makes it both right and conservative?
The devil ends up being in the details.
In a real sense we are already living with a model in which Caesar is the ultimate owner of any real estate that you can’t physically cart off. Like I’ve been telling folks, just don’t pay your taxes and watch what happens.
The takings clause of the Constitution tried to strike a sensible balance in this affair. Arguably it got pushed beyond intent by the Kelo decision which allowed tax receipts to be counted as a public purpose.
In the end, though, what is it going to mean. It is going to have to mean better planning or else there will be boondoggles of waste as in the very situation of Kelo or even the casino that Trump wanted to build but got edged out by competition in New Jersey.
The Indians were given just compensation?
Trump's touch-back amnesty doesn't exactly do that.
And if you had a point, you might make it. Instead, you want to deflect from the Trump biography.
The keystone pipeline will be private property just like the Trump hotel. The hotel creates jobs, etc.
This is why I can find any merit in the usual screaming heads postings. There is no interest in rational discussion of fact, they merely flail round desperately for something they can scream at Trump about.
AND what physical biometric and background documentary checks are they going through RIGHT NOW?
None.
I want a real biometric and background vetting system in place for every one of them, and Trump is the only one supporting that.
IF, after that vetting, some immigrants with stellar records are permitted to reapply for worker status, then I don’t really care if they get in or someone else going through those checks gets in.
But I do care that ANYONE gets in who cannot be checked or who has not been checked.
People need to wake up and understand the important issues and quit piddling with gotchas.
We ought to find out more about what Trump would intend to see done with such a power, and he should definitely be pressed hard (and with pointed disregard to his acid replies) as to how we are going to avoid waste problems. Both Kelo and his own casino were strike-outs. Usually, highways and such are not.
See #32, and yes it does with the new vetting system.
Dunno, it reads like queue-back to me.
Thank you
Well said
We need to look at the big picture
You can pick anyone a part, no one is perfect
An entire article about what trump thinks and only one example of where Trump tried to use eminent domain and failed. And the paragraph is a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened.
That’s rich coming from you.
See #32.
We’re not going to have a country if we don’t stop the illegal and insane importation of UNVETTED terrorists and job stealers and welfare leeches.
People need to wake up and figure out what’s important.
Thanks. See #32
