Ted? You were born in Canada. You probably weren’t eligible to run for the Senate, but you did. You’re probably not eligible to run for president, but you did, thinking that it would all sort itself out.

You’re naïve...and irresponsible to run for a high office without resolving these issues...Also, you’re taking PAC money...and there’s the issue with you not getting along with your colleagues.

So, let’s talk about this first shall we?

'Natural Law' does not mean what you think it means.

I know EXACTLY what it means.

Note the reference to Natural Law in the first sentence of our Declaration of Independence.

It is crystal clear that the Founding Fathers used the Natural Law definition of 'natural born Citizen' when they wrote Article II. By invoking "The Laws of Nature and Nature's God" the 56 signers of the Declaration incorporated a legal standard of freedom into the forms of government that would follow.

President John Quincy Adams, writing in 1839, looked back at the founding period and recognized the true meaning of the Declaration's reliance on the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God." He observed that the American people's "charter was the Declaration of Independence. Their rights, the natural rights of mankind. Their government, such as should be instituted by the people, under the solemn mutual pledges of perpetual union, founded on the self-evident truth's proclaimed in the Declaration."

The Supreme Court of the United States has never applied the term “natural born citizen” to any other category than “those born in the country of parents who are citizens thereof”.

No he didn’t blame Kelly and Ailes... he blamed a chicken bleep press release and the having additional questioners in there with an agenda.

Not saying you’re wrong about his motive to not show up. But, hey...he’s the front runner by a lot. Nothing to gain here.

I guess we’ll see right?

After every debate during presidential cycles, Republicans and conservatives come on FR and say, rightfully, "WHY does the Republican leadership allow our candidates to participate in these debates moderated by liberals and haters whose questions are totally designed in prejudice and bias to GET the Republican? Why do we do it every year? The Republicans need to refuse to do it with these mainstream media/Government controlled media asking the questions with their extreme leftist/Democrat party bias." EVERY debate season preceding every presidential election. Why doesn't the GOP chairman stop this, why AGREE to it, why not DEMAND to be treated fairly? Why do we need "moderators" asking questions anyway?

NOW we finally have a candidate with the cajones, the only one in this bunch, only one in living memory, to refuse to participate unless the debate host network removes the HIGHLY PARTISAN, unqualified, proven Trump hater, transparently seeking to curry favor with her left wing friends and colleagues.

And NOW the Cruzers on FR who weren't even around for all these previous debates in history, or knew or cared nothing about politics then, or were simply Democrats---NOW these people, to support their Establishment candidate, call Trump a COWARD, he's too afraid to face Megyn Kelly. Even Ted Goldman Sachs Cruz is saying it. That's pitiful, because THIS is EXACTLY what conservatives and republicans have wanted for years and years: to NOT let the host network get away with using moderators who are leftists intent upon embarrassing and trying to ruin our candidates, in this case Trump.

So Trump is THE one to set the precedent, to DO what everyone before just TALKED about, and the idiots who should be over on Commitment2Establishment so childishly say, Trump is afraid of Megyn Kelly! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

PS---Trump kicked ass in SIX DEBATES and no one laid a glove on him, and now the losers want another shot at the heavy weight champion. But they aren't in his class. So no rematch.

Based on your post, Cruz is a natural born citzen because he was born of a United States citizen, his mother.

Secondly, natural law and natural born and not the same. Natural Law has no relationship to the citizenship of a person.

After Trump’s campaign manager spending four days trying to force Fox News to drop Megyn from the panel, including snarky comments about Megyn, you think Fox News had no reason or basis for making a snarky comment abut Trump?

Apparently Trump can’t handle the same kind of treatment he so ready to hand out to others. Trump got exactly what he deserved. He’s a whiny crybaby when he doesn’t get his way.

BRAVO!!! Best post of the day!!! Trump has been EVERYWHERE since he announced, he has held his OWN news conferences, he has been open to questions from EVERYONE, he has been on more shows than I can even count, he has called into shows consistently, he has put himself out there more than any other candidate!!! HE DOESN’T NEED this debate and being bitch slapped by Google activists!!! You are EXACTLY correct about our side screaming about WHY do these biased debates!!! Trump is RIGHT!!!

Reason for NOT doing this debate has far more to do with GOOGLE activists teaming up with Megyn than Megyn herself!!! Trump is right we should NOT accept these biased debates!!! Period!!!!

Trump wants to sit on his lead, at the same time he’s protecting his fragile ego that’s struggling hard within himself that he might loose Iowa. (He’s a full blown narcissist whose greatest fear is loosing) ....not showing for the debate he can blame Kelly and Fox for his loss....and you know he will. Anything to he can do to shore up his ego he’s going to do.....and that would not include a debate with Cruz....which is his other greatest fear.

Trump’s problem isn’t Megan at all.....she’s just a comfortable distraction from what he’s “feeling” about the race. Plus because he orchestrates and manipulates his followers , which feed his ego like a drug would an addict, this is why he wants to set up an opposing event while the debate is going on.....Trump will go to extreme lengths to protect his own image of himself he does NOT want any to see.

We all know as the debates move along they get more serious and refined....and the moderators will purposely try to get them to explain or defend themselves. Trump has difficulty doing that because he’s not controlling the stage and has to share a stage. He’s ‘afraid’ of the debate itself as it becomes more focused on issues.....thus all this diversion onto other things.

The only thing wrong with this is Trump has no record. No political votes whatsoever. All anyone can do is take old statements or out of context statements and twist them. That’s why these attacks aren’t working.

Apparently Trump can't handle the same kind of treatment he so ready to hand out to others.

And apparently neither can his supporters. I remember when the Trump supporters were about to take to their fainting couches as the were overcome with outrage over a vile "attack" from Ted Cruz. What did Cruz say that so cruelly defamed the Donald?

"I don't think he will be the nominee."

Really? Why don't you point it out then?

Secondly, natural law and natural born and not the same. Natural Law has no relationship to the citizenship of a person.

The Law of Nations or the Principles of Natural Law (1758)

212. Citizens and natives.

The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent.

Oh baloney.....Trump needs to man up and take the hits as any other candidate does....which he can’t because he doesn’t have a strong foundation under him to withstand the blows. So he’s trying to control the environment or switch it to where he can handle both the turmoil within himself, that he might loose Iowa, and going up against the candidates who as debates move along fine tune their positions.so they are more prepared.

Trump will always pull out of “deals” where he is in over his head.....often times using a surrogate to fight them for him when he cannot.

It was reported earlier to day...Trumps seat would not be empty....but of course they aren’t saying if he or another is filling it.....”Show time to continue”...ratings to increase..... stay tuned for the next episode of... “Will He or Won’t HE”........while the american people get shafted by both the media and Trump as they line their purses.

Do you really want to obfuscate the truth this much?
I'm not obfuscating a damn thing. If I've done so then show or state where and how.

...a record of past statements...

Then shouldn't he have said that instead of using a term of art usually reserved for politicians?

Good...I'm frankly not posting the facts of Trump I find, or at least selective the thread I do post to....Not only is the Primary running ragged trying to get some degree of stability....but FR is pretty wired up with less then stable discussions about the candidates.

......Meanwhile....

The longer this campaign has gone on the more I’ve grown to dislike Cruz. There was always something about him I just didn’t buy. I believe he’s just as much a showman as Trump. Or he wants to be.
