Is Trump smart enough to run as a conservative in the Republican primary?
Yes
Ben Shapiro is a clown who puts most of his more vicious, anti-Trump stuff on other websites, then pretends to be more objective when he writes on Breitbart. Ben was bashing Trump for the Muslim moratorium thing too, even though Ben once recommended expelling Palestinians from the West Bank. Ben does and thinks whatever his corporate overlords tell him to do and think.
Who knows
Would be better than Clinton
He’s more conservative than Mitt Romney on almost every single issue and NRO had no problem backing up Mittens...
I rest my case.
Quit reading right there. No real conservative would write such nonsense. Decreasing marginal rates has always resulted in huge increases in federal revenue. Look at revenues in the 1960'a and again in the 1980's. Huge revenue increase following tax cuts.
Here we go again...
If the media was as smart as it would have us believe, they would have figured out the answer to that headline...but, they keep asking it day after day, after day.
The typical free trader bs emerges rather quickly in the article, outing the fact that the Cheap Labor Express endorsed the message.
The tariffs will be necessary to stop ChiCom currency manipulation. Consumers, who will once again have real JOBS instead of asking if you want fries with that will be able to afford the minimal increase in costs of their products (and higher quality of goods). It becomes a cycle of PROSPERITY that we have exported to China at our expense, in order to make our CLE overlords rich.
The New World Order started with Bush Sr, and went right thru the ‘toons and W. Obozo has just tried to shift that order to Islam and Africa.
Anyone who bemoans the tariffs as too expensive are trying to keep you on the plantation.
That’s the bottom line for me with Trump and most of the other remaining Republican candidates. Political choices are binary; you typically don’t have the luxury of getting everything you want wrapped up in one candidate.
“Heâs more conservative than Mitt Romney on almost every single issue and NRO had no problem backing up Mittens...
I rest my case.”
A friend and I just had a conversation along these lines the other day. I maintain that Trump is no more conservative (or less) than Romney. Just more successful and more willing to engage.
If being “conservative” means favoring the globalist policy known as “Free trade,” then you can have it.
This election is about a major change needed in the direction of our county. Until Trump came along, nobody was talking about the real issues.
Is sealing the borders conservative?
Is applying pressure to keep (what’s left) of U.S. manufacturing jobs and bring more manufacturing back home conservative?
Is controlled immigration at a pace that provides for assimilation rather than taking over our country being conservative?
Is putting America’s interests first conservative?
Being conservative is irrelevant on these issue. If these are conservative issues, then where were the conservatives that were speaking out on these issues.
National Review and the rest of the cowards can get out of the country they quietly watched being destroyed without making a whimper. I’m voting for Trump.
Well it seems that what it does mean to the Establishment.
The problem with Trump’s conservatism is that it is all rhetoric. Unlike the Koch Brothers he has put no substantial effort into promoting conservative causes or small government values.
We know with out a doubt Billionaire George Soros is a Marxist because he funds Marxist organizations like Moveon.org and BLM. He pays people to protest and demonstrate for Marxist causes all over the world.
Where has Trump done this for conservatism?
There’s something to be said about the pitfalls of cheap imports. They may make products cheaper, but what does the loss of manufacturing and jobs cost us the long run? The more people that are pushed out of work and on to the government dole, the higher our taxes will be to support them. What is our real unemployment number?
Gotta be a commonsense middle ground somewhere.
What hath free trade wrought?
As if replacing lost manufacturing jobs with part time jobs saying "fries with that" hasn't hurt American consumers and destroyed our purchasing power.
Wait until you’re a lawyer ;)
