It’s still all about CBA.
Benghazi’s Smoking Gun? Only President Can Give Cross-Border Authority
That arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave could have saved Ambassador Stevens and the other three if he had given the order, but chose not to. Their death is on his shoulder
Excellent yet infuriating movie. See it.
And thank you immensely to all the vets on FR who I’m sure are as brave as the incredible men portrayed in this movie.
This was a gut wrenching movie......well made....a must see!
Without even saying their names, it was obvious who was at fault.
People were crying and mad when it was over.
As I got up to leave the theater before I could stop my mouth it said, “and that bitch wants to be President!” My friend couldn’t hear what I said and again, I couldn’t stop my mouth before it repeated “and that bitch wants to be President!”
More than that.
Why was the ambassador protected by only two, TWO!!! US personnel?
Out of like 300 embassies in the world, 12 were considered ‘critical’ Benghazi was one of them... and they had TWO??? US personnel? No marines? no soldiers? no nothing? just locally hired rent-a-cops?
My understanding is that the Libyan embassy had at its disposal a Jet, but got rid of it a few months or weeks before the attack. My understanding is that there was a team of US personnel (18 soldiers?) that were available till a few weeks before the attack, but that team was sent away.
All the above decision to reduce security personnel and available assets to the ambassador were made and were the purview of the ambassador’s boss, the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
Now.. regarding what is explicitly depicted in the movie:
The (real) CIA station chief came out of retirement and obscurity and said:
“There never was a stand-down order,” said the base chief known as Bob, speaking publicly for the first time. “At no time did I ever second-guess that the team would depart.”
Read that statement carefully. Note that the GRS contractors had no authority to go on their own and WORKED for him. They could not just go.. he HAD to TELL them to go, which is not the same as saying at no time did I told them not to go.
What? Now civilian contractors to the CIA have freedom to come and go and engage troops in combat without being ordered to do so? They just free-float without their boss ‘second guessing them’?
I take the (real) Chief’s statement as a confirmation of what is depicted in the movie.
I wonder if Americans will ever learn that fact.
I am afraid it WILL infuriate me. The book about bj clunton called dereliction of duty will really piss you off when you read that bj had the chance to nail bin laden and had the plans of 9/11 on his desk in the oval office and did nothing.
and that bitch who Cant Understand Normal Thinking had the balls to ask Bush “What did the president know and when?”
I just want to live long enough to see these two die.
clinton and obama are both TRAITORS
obama for supporting islamic jihad and sending weapons to the sinaloa cartel and cutting a deal to bring drugs in and money out of the usa and for freeing al queda to allow then to return to kill americans
clinton for selling national secrets and murdering khadaffy and her part in benghazi
You are quite right about this point. Despite a number of fairy tales, I do not know of any cross border violation in Laos and Cambodia even though I was in a unit that did cross border operations every day with aviation assets. I was a ground asset and we never violated that restriction.
No it doesn’t. It’s a cowboys and Indians movie that never even asks why anyone is fighting.
Good fight scenes though.
Whenever my mind becomes directed to the Bengazi debacle, the unavoidable associated graphic image is the naked, tortured body of Obama’s and Hillary’s, and America’s ambassador being carried by some of his torturers, still “alive.”
I have no doubt that these warriors & ambassador Stevens are dead because Obama and Clinton wanted (i.e. needed, for political expedience) Stevens, and any material witnesses, dead. I seriously doubt they wanted ANY American survivors of the incident.
Something very ugly was going on there, and Obama and Clinton wanted no witnesses.

BTW - given our naivete about theaters - we got there 25 minutes before roll-time, and got the last two tickets available for this weekday, midday matinee.....the clerk told us that this has been their most popular movie currently - and this a multi-plex with probably a dozen showing rooms.
He was indisposed, preoccupied as it were.
I saw what you did there. I’ll make a note to remember it.
What? she can’t.
;)
Yes, exactly.
IOW they oughta be up for four, I believe, counts of murder. I’ve heard that Ambassador Stevens was a personal friend of the woman’s...
