To prove your point on the gay thing. I saw a piece on a new BBC show that was a spy thriller. The thing was the two lead players were gay lovers in the series. It was a complete turnoff for me. What could have been an interesting series was taken in a direction I am not interested in I have notices that now in some shows there is a subplot gay story line that has nothing to do with the main story line and I just give up on the thing.

Disappointing votes by Ted and others like him have shown that even some of the best people we have on our side can at times be swayed, yes.

That said, this group is just the start. With folks like Cruz, Paul, and even Rubio and others; we are moving in the right direction. This movement has been boosted by Trump and Cruz as allies...somewhat. To let outside forces that are clearly against both divide them to defeat them is something we can not let pass.

It's moments in time like this that have always changed America over the course of our history. Only this time more of us on both sides of the political spectrum and yes the vaunted independents have far more say and power then we have ever had.

Guys like Cruz and Rubio as well as Carson and Paul and I Carly...are the folks who hit the beach first and pushed inland. Trump is a leader who may kick the door wide open and give us far more candidates in the House and Senate that will help us in defeating our enemies.

Some times it takes a little risk, a little trust, and a little faith to face the tasks we have at hand.

Oh my word!! I thought this was a conservative website that cared about the constitution. Don't get me wrong. Trump has several SERIOUS negatives:

- Support for the Kelo decision.
- Flip-flop allegiances with the democrat party and GOP.
- Self-promotion.
- Thinks crony capitalism is an acceptable business model.

That's nothing compared to a potential trade war. Unemployment stayed well below 10% after the stock market crash of 1929. Unemployment didn't exceed double digits until 1931, after the imposition of the Smoot-Harley tariffs in June 1930.

U.S. imports from and exports to Europe fell by some two-thirds between 1929 and 1932, while overall global trade declined by similar levels in the four years that the legislation was in effect.
