So... I’ve been sitting here listening to Rush’s podcast and as I near the end of it... All I can say is that I’m uh... I can’t even describe how I’m feeling.

What you should have been feeling was how duped you were by the lie that Cruz is anti-establishment. Sarah Palin told you at the end of the text:

"That's why they've been bloating budgets. It's for crony capitalists to be able suck off of them. It's why we see these lousy trade deals that gut our industry for special interests elsewhere. We need someone new, who has the power, and is in the position to bust up that establishment to make things great again. It's part of the problem. His candidacy - - which is a movement. It's a force; it's a strategy. It proves as long as the politicos get to keep their titles, and their perks, and their media ratings, they don't really care who wins elections," as long as they get to maintain what they've got now.

She's not wrong.

She's more right about that even she may know.

END TRANSCRIPT

The Council on Foreign Relations, CFR, is equally membered with Republicans and Democrats that plot behind closed doors to allow the Donner Class to dictate the future of the duped serfs they control. Ted Cruz is owned by the GOP Elite and Wall Street money with his handler wife a member of the CFR.

This is far more pervasive than your petty beef that Trump is not a true Conservative.

Wake up and Make America Great Again. Vote Trump 2016!

Absolutely and he will not rule by EO

If you can find the video where Ivanka describes how he runs the board room. It is very enlightening. Points I remember.
1.He chooses the experts for in put
2. He listens
3. When It’s time to make the final decision after all have had input , he takes leadership and decides so no one else has the burden of failure on their shoulder The buck stops with him
I have searched since finding it last summer the day after he announced . If you run acrossed it ping me

I’ll circle back with you after Ted drops out and starts campaigning for Donald in exchange for AG or SCOTUS.

I, for one, welcome it. The crooks in Washington (both sides) deserve every bit of ass-whooping coming their way.

Trump does not believe in limited government. The reason the GOPe "hated" him is that he didn't seem predisposed toward their crooks. Therefore, what will result if he takes the Presidency is that we will get a different set of crooks. If the GOPe can get theirs in the deal they'll be perfectly happy, albeit with a sour taste on style points. No matter what, Trump will do nothing to halt the cheap labor express. That's the biggie.

The whole idea of limited government is that it wouldn't have the power to sell favors, which is what most conservatives fail to grasp. Under its Constitutional limits, the Federal government could do nothing but remove barriers to commerce from State to State. That is not at all what our lover of eminent domain even thinks he's going to bring. All he talks about is what HE will do, with no mention of Congress or Constitutional limits at all, this despite the fact that most of what he promises is not within the immediate powers of the Presidency.

Meanwhile, Trump sold out to Big Corn subsidies and Cruz told Iowans straight up he was sticking to his principles, even in the face of an incredibly important primary. Intersting,,,, actions speak louder than words.

well.....what can I say....I remember shaking my fist and howling like a banshee about all the lawyers in DC. Those stinking lawyers..!! Why don't we send some "BUSINESS MEN" to Washington for a change.!! THE STINKING LAWYERS ARE STEALING US BLIND..!!!

So...here we are....we have one of the most successful business men in the country running for president and I STILL feel uneasy about the whole thing... Maybe if he didn't act like such a schmuck he would be more acceptable to me....

One thing for sure... Things in Washington need to be changed, BIG TIME..! And if there is one thing we can be sure of with Trump, it's change..! We need to move our nation back to our constitutional roots, (my opinion).

The problem is... I haven't heard Trump say a whole lot about the constitution...one way OR the other.... I think I would feel a lot better if he would give a speech about his love of our country, our constitution, and his God.... Not tell jokes...make fun of somebody or disrespect one of his competitors... But say something meaningful for a change..

MHO... :(

Limited government died along with Abe Lincoln. It’s a great way to bet someone about the head and shoulders, but it hasn’t been extant for 150 years.

The best we can hope for is controlling the beast. For now.

I seriously doubt you’re interested in my opinion especially since I gave it already and you didn’t like it some much you thought the response was ignorant.

Limited government died along with Abe Lincoln.

That's no excuse for heading in the opposite direction.

And you’ll never get a single Trumpanzee to address his longstanding - and continued - support for single payer. Hell, they’ve become so philosophically incoherent, they may think single-payer is conservative.

I remember when conservatives opposed even Medicare and SS. I still do. I guess principle is just too cruel a rule.

" in general I believe he can turn the economy around far better than any of his competition.

How? By starting trade wars? Nationalizing health care? Instituting a "wealth tax?"

Pray tell, how will Trust Fund Donnie achieve this miracle?

“Trump is no Conservative so Palin’s support of a nonConservative says some will sacrifice Conservativism for slogans.”

absolutely. Trump’s lack of social conservatism will kill his movement. Palin threw all the social conservatives under the bus in endorsing Trump, and broadcast herself as artificial on the topic.

It is the ONLY reason Cruz made his NY values comment. He knows social conservatism is very important for many groups of conservative. He wanted people to think about a Trump vote with the NY values Trump has.

“Shameless idolatry of Cruz supporters is noticeable in that no matter what is pointed out to them, the idol worshipers never respond to the substance they merely attack the message”

I support Cruz. I use substance. I do not worship him or any other candidate I support.

So instead of blanket criticism of fellow-conservatives, how about following your own advice and stick to substance instead of personal attacks?

Conservatism is about small govt, fiscal responsibility & support of the Constitution.
Anything else is not Conservativism and not good.

****************

So how much conservative gov’t do you have today? How have the current elected group of
so called conservatives been doing in providing conservativism?

Keep going to the same ol’ trough and you’ll keep getting the same ol’ thing. Maybe a change
from the same ol’ would begin the process of getting back to what you would like see. For
sure it happened anytime in the past several elections.

Who knows? Maybe a shake up in those that are calling the shots may begin the process of
turning this country around. Gov’t breeds more gov’t and that is what we have... inbred politicians
and gov’t employees. Kick them out start a new.

“So, when Ted drops out and endorse Trump...”

Better read up on George Will today as he floated that if no conservative is nominee, a 3rd party bid will be made.

Those words on lost on this kind of guy. his words were a projection of what he truly is, i.e. - a blind supporter.
