Of course Flake (good name for him) voted yes.
That’s a lot of housecleaning. But at least there’s a list. There’s no point in regime change unless you also remove - by any means necessary - the the pervasive architecture of officials, bureaucrats, regulators, enforcers and petty thugs put in place by the previous regime.
Bush utterly failed to do this. This in my mind tagged him for a failure. That, and his insistence right after 9/11 that Islam was a religion of peace.
Hey, they gotta work together, right? You gotta be able to get along with everyone. You have to make deals. You wanna be liked by everyone, right? You can’t be a maniac and be known as a nasty person. You’ll never get things done.
