When Secretary Of States refuse to put Cruz on ballot because they believe he is ineligible, then Cruz will be in panic to sue them but not likely he will have time. Just dumb dumb dumb!

Fine. Now would be a good time to whup it out. Unless he just enjoys drama & controversy. Oh yeah. That’s what we need in a president. Not.

In 1972 I had a American military passport, it was stamped “and infant son” after his CRBA was filed. I flew home three years later, with that passport and him.

I doubt your son could run for President.

"Maybe not but it looks more like that every day."

It's certain, otherwise he would have produced the paper...and if his parents didn't get the paper, he would have produced the formal petition to the US Government (and response) that certified his Citizenship.

While he may be entitled to Citizenship by Birth, he apparently has not completed the rigor to certify it.

One could make a case that his election to the Senate was fraudulent.

It really seems that way. Who cares about America and our laws? It really is heartbreaking that so many Americans are okay with this.

First you would have to prove that Obama was not born on American soil. Trump was a big birther on Obama too.

What’s maddening is that he so blatantly doesn’t, yet claims the opposite.

People can say whatever they want about Trump, but he does believe in what were once the rules and abides by them. He doesn’t think he’s entitled to special privileges or to break the rules when he pleases. Unlike our special snowflake, Ted.

Is this article saying that Cruzs’ parents never filed Citizen of the United States of America (CRBA)

TED CRUZ IS IN THE U.S. SENATE ILLEGALLY?

Again, the above authenticated evidence proves that Ted Cruz was born Canadian in 1970 and remained a legal citizen of Canada until renouncing his Canadian citizenship in May of 2014. These official documents also prove that Ted Cruz was a legal citizen of Canada in 2012, when he sought and claimed a seat in the U.S. Senate as a legal US citizen.

As a result of this damning evidence, the Cruz campaign hired friends at Harvard to issue a letter which makes a legal case for how Ted Cruz (and Barack Obama) might be a natural born Citizen of the United States eligible to seek the Oval Office. However, a legal opinion letter is not equal to, nor does it supersede authentic evidence to the contrary.

It is possible for a child to be born outside of the United States, and still acquire legal U.S. citizenship at birth through a parent, according to U.S. Naturalization codes pertaining to “Citizenship at Birth for Children Born Outside the U.S. and its Territories.” If the related conditions are met, a child born outside of the United States to one U.S. Citizen parent, in this case, Ted’s mother, the parents can file for and receive U.S. Citizenship for the child by filing a CRBA form with a U.S. Consulate at the time of birth.

The statutes governing this naturalization process state;

“A child born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents may acquire U.S. citizenship at birth if certain statutory requirements are met. The child’s parents should contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate to apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America (CRBA) to document that the child is a U.S. citizen. If the U.S. embassy or consulate determines that the child acquired U.S. citizenship at birth, a consular officer will approve the CRBA application and the Department of State will issue a CRBA, also called a Form FS-240, in the child’s name.”

I certainly hope whoever wins this debate would carry it on to the unconstitutional acceptance of anchor babies as citizens.

Trump makes a point of saying, if you don’t have laws, you don’t have a country.

Exactly. Cruz’s supporters don’t get that this is what people are so bent out of shapes about, therefore that’s what we ‘’see in Trump’’.

Of course, they don’t care, either. Like 0bama & the communists, they want to ‘’fundamentally transform’’ America, too,

“My son was born overseas in 1972, to two American citizens.”

Your case is exactly like McCains. That is not an issue. However Cruz’s father was not an American citizen. May be an issue and might not be an issue. Plus he was born in Canada and had from what I heard Canadian citizenship. Again I don’t know if that matters or not.

exactly- it’s settled- a child born to a sovereign parent (A citizen of the US is considered sovereign,) is every bit as much the same nationality as the mother or father as a child born to a woman who is a subject of the king or queen regardless of where the child is born- The child of the parent who is subject to king or queen is a ‘natural born subject’ while the child of a sovereign parent of the US is a ‘natural born citizen’- there is no law needed to uphold this- by natural law they are granted the nationality of their sovereign parent- this should be the end of the discussion but of course the left and Cruz haters will never cede this fact

[[Your case is exactly like McCains. That is not an issue. However Cruz’s father was not an American citizen.]]

Doesn’t matter- His mother was- and as a sovereign citizen her child is a natural born citizen- IF the non citizen father living abroad wanted to take the child away to become a citizen of another nation, he would not be allowed to under the law because the child is a US citizen regardless of where hte4 child is born- as long as them other met the requirement for citizenship- and she did- the child is a US citizen

[[Plus he was born in Canada and had from what I heard Canadian citizenship. Again I don’t know if that matters or not]]

Legally no it doesn’t matter- Dual citizenship is allowed under certain circumstances and with dual citizenship compliant countries-

I cannot conceive of being eligible to run for President with a dual citizenship. My son had dual US/German and had to renounce his German citizenship when he registered for Selective Service.

As much as I adore my son, I would never argue that he was natural born. Apparently, being military changes that but I’m not sure on that.

Yeah, if this issue hadn’t come out now and Cruz had been nominated, the media and the Democrats would have nuked him with this.

As it is now, half of all Republican voters either think he’s not qualified or are not sure:

http://news.yahoo.com/quarter-republicans-think-cruzs-birthplace-disqualifies-him-president-120508988.html

The issue is so hot, it’s really not even safe for Trump to select Cruz as VP now.
