The Kasich NH and Bush SC numbers merely represent wild thrashing about among GOPe shifting their votes to try to stop Trump. Jeb’s “gain” comes at the expense of Kasich, Rubio, Christie, and others . . . And same for Kasich in NH.

I do not understand the establishment supporters. Bush surged past Rubio and Carson into third place in SC after the debate? I wasn’t crazy about Rubio, but still I’m having trouble wrapping my mind around the idea that anyone could think that Bush did better than Rubio in the debate. Yes, Bush was a tad better than in earlier debates, but marginally better than horrible is still very bad.
