He is a SUPER ambitious ( in a bad way ), lying, ego driven narcissist. He is NOTHING at all like Reagan; just the flip side of the coin with Obama.
The MSM has pushed and PROTECTED Obama; they will do NEITHER for Cruz.

... and yet, somehow he couldn’t disclose his loans on his FEC form. An attorney and a “constitutional expert” and so smart, I’ve heard. And an ivy league graduate - two times over.
And his wife has an MBA.
Yet together, they couldn’t make the proper two disclosures on an FEC form.
Since he signed it, I have to conclude he isn’t very detail-oriented, or simply did not want to interrupt his story line for the campaign.

Don’t forget, he was unaware that he was a Canadian until a little over a year ago. I guess when you get that kind of tunnel vision on conlaw that you don’t recall what country you are from. Genius like that is beyond the grasp of little people.

It’s understandable at least given his career. Once American always American, kind of like the Baptist once saved always saved. Don’t look back. That model worked great for him. Canadian-American by birth, Texan by grace of God. Yeehaw. Now it becomes a technical issue. Like his election finance disclosures. Didn’t have to mean anything wrong. But a gotcha that snuck up on him.
The Christian way to deal with the gotcha is to treat it as a GOAD of God. That is 100% of the way He deals with the faithful.
Some have done polls of the nominee vs. Hillary and reportedly come up with better ratings for Cruz than for Trump.
But this doesn’t involve either one having debated Hillary (or Bernie for that matter). This is based on what they know about the respective politicians’ stated positions.
I feel kind of sorry for Hillary against a Trump when he gets going. He won’t be chivalrous. People who secretly knew something was wrong with that gal will be like ding dong the wicked witch is dying!

With all due respect, though, I know you pretty much hate Cruz. I’d rather hear from the other camp. (I support both of them.)
I’d love for one of the Cruz supporters to come along and tell me what Cruz’s plan was about the dem lawyers. And if he didn’t have a plan, then why is he not just as arrogant as his opponent (Trump)?
I’m not interested in arguing with anyone. I just want a Cruz person to give me a valid reason to not think he’s very selfish. (And if anyone does answer me, please don’t insult them and get them sidetracked. It’s pretty volatile around here. Thank you in advance!)

Let’s handicap this thing fairly. But we will not accept scoffing or airy predictions. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN RUBBER HITS ROAD? Even if it is slim chance. Seems to me that Democrats get to play troll-with-mace here not because we wanted it, but because God allowed the drama to get to this juncture.
