Cruz's wife works for GS. What kind of favors are owed to GS for giving him the loan?

Now, how many corrupt NY pols has billionaire real estate tycoon, ‘The Donald’, bribed with campaign contributions over his many years living and doing business in NY (or around the world for that matter)...any kickbacks for favorable legislation, local zoning rules, gambling? For example, it is known that he tried to secure gambling rights in Florida with campaign contributions to local pols including Jeb Bush...this seems like the sort of NY value that Ted Cruz is talking about!

Bribes? Was the GS loan a bribe? Trump is a private citizen. He is not a sitting Senator. Do think that Cruz advocating for a 500% increase in H-1B visas had anything to do with corporate special interests. Take a look how energetic and enthusiastic Cruz is as he supports his amendment, an amendment Sessions opposed:

Sen. Cruz Amendment to Immigration Legislation to Increase H-1B Visas

Actually, it’s not hypocrisy. It’s a bald-faced lie.

“The difference between them is that Cruz will fight hard with a level of civility and decorum befitting a US President”

Translation:

A sternly worded letter to the Democrats to stop blocking his agenda, will easily get rejected. The Dems will then launch into him, like they did Bush. The press will join in. Cruz’s numbers will drop, and he will lament the “disappointing partisanship of D.C.”.

Dems then go on to win the mid-terms, and Cruz is now a lame-duck. But we can feel good, because he showed soooooo much “class”?

Exactly...Phineas T Trump and all the Trumpette followers have no class!

Cruz emanates class, but fights hard for his beliefs! Cruz will do what Reagan did...take his ideas to the people!

And that’s unfortunate.

That’s why, as I’ve said, I personally long for the day that we’re done with man’s politics and we’re all ruled by the one perfect King who is the Creator and ruler of the entire universe.

I don’t want to go after people who support Trump. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t that long ago I was criticizing people for getting into this “us vs you” mentality on this board.

I support Cruz because I believe he’s the most conservative and is a sincere Christian. If people want to criticize a vote, whether I agree with their criticism or not, that’s fair game. Taking it to the levels many do is ridiculous, but criticism itself is fair game. I myself wasn’t getting why, in this situation, he supported TPA.

But when I start seeing people saying he’s lying about being a Christian, with NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that he is, other than what they’ve decided to believe in their own head, and they spread what is quite possibly a lie themselves, well then what does that make these people?

Utterly classless, if I may say so. Despicably low rent.

I’m not going to buy into Trump because I’m not going to go crazy because he tells people everything he thinks they want to hear during an election. I don’t care if he self funds or not. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT EVERY POLITICIAN DOES.

So then when we ask, where’s the record beyond the rhetoric so that we can believe him, we’re told, “Oh he says the same things all the time at his rallies. Listen to his rallies. Listen to his speeches.”

That’s still rhetoric.

I happen to at least TRY to study, somewhat, how the elite, how the globalists, how the children of Satan, how the tares, how the Illuminati, whatever you want to call them, operate.

I also try to run my own reasoning through the prophetic end times I believe we’re in.

Every time I do that, and when I examine Trump coming onto the scene to be the big “hero” out of nowhere, and I KNOW that these children of Satan have to wreck the governments of nations and wreck the faith of the people of those nations in their elected leaders, and I believe FULLY that I’ll see the Antichrist on earth sooner rather than later in all likelihood in my lifetime, I can easily see ALL of this Trump stuff being one big ruse- one big game to amuse all of them. I mean, they’re following the pattern of Obama 2008 to the letter- find a guy who’s “different”, give him a slogan that in and of itself sounds great but is meaningless and vague when it comes to substance, and let the people be enthralled and enraptured. Then sit back and be amused when the next “choice” we make doesn’t solve anything either. Mostly because they manipulated the entire process and picked our candidates for us to start with.

And I’m sorry, but with a media fixation on Donald Trump, they’re choosing him as “our” candidate.

Trump is surrounded, or has been surrounded, I THINK, with tares probably for most of his life. His father was as well. Quite possibly from his right hand man, Michael Cohen (previous Obama supporter) to when he broke into the casino world and ran a company for the Rothschilds and Rockefellers of the world that laundred money to the CIA and the Mossad.

The guy’s been an elite establishment “money changer” as someone put it his entire life. Maybe he’s broken from that and gone rogue as someone theorized. Maybe I’m wrong and he, and they, are not playing a sick game on all of us. I could be wrong. I don’t think I am. But I could be.

Regardless, I think there’s something inherently dangerous and immensely disappointing into buying into Donald Trump 100% with no questions asked and no scrutiny needed.

And that’s what I see a lot of people doing. It’s our own hope and change. Nothing more.

My feelings aren’t hurt. I just think it’s dirty. Trump sounds like Hillary and I don’t think the Republicans at this stage should be beating up on each other. It doesn’t look good for Trump to continue. I’m getting tired of hearing about this crap. Trump is looking a little unhinged.

So, treating gay people as human beings is “New York values”.

Okay, if you say so. I guess in a round about way you’re right. I mean, New York certainly openly supports them.

Look, I’m rather STRONGLY anti SSM. I seem to find myself interjecting it into unrelated things at random because it, and “LGBT rights” are being pushed down our throats constantly. I did two shows on Ezekiel 38 and 39 and I STILL made a reference to those things.

That said, I work with a lesbian 4 days a week who is apparently going to “marry” her partner later this year.

We’re work friends more than true friends and so more than likely I won’t get an invite to that wedding. Which is fine, because I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with going.

Nevertheless, as work friends go, she’s still great, she’s still one of the coolest people I currently know, and while yes I hope and pray that one day she, and her partner, come out of their sin, I’m still going to treat her just as kindly as I possibly can.

Which is what you highlighted from my post to attack Cruz on and called “New York values”.

Oddly, I thought those where CHRISTIAN values and even to a lesser extent, human values myself. Maybe that’s just me.

Trump’s marital history is not relevant in this discussion. Let’s talk about GS and its political orientation and bias. Cruz has been ensnared by GS and Citibank, two NYC banks.

“Trump sounds like Hillary and I don’t think the Republicans at this stage should be beating up on each other.”

Trump is literally carpet bombing Cruz from so many different directions, that it only looks like what Democrats do....because it’s how they beat the GOP in so many elections.

It’s political war. Obama did it, Clinton did it, and Reagan did it (although with a wink and a smile. You clear that opponent of the field and you leave them dazed.

Cruz is simply not used to this.

” It doesn’t look good for Trump to continue. I’m getting tired of hearing about this crap. Trump is looking a little unhinged.”

People have said that for months. But in the end, people respect the strength and determination. They know Trump wants this, and they see a person this focused as going on to stomping Hillary into the ground.

Again, HUGE glass house my friend.

I don’t begrudge Trump either his inheritance or the wealth he’s earned. Although again, it seems that it’s POSSIBLE that some of that is ill gotten gains. Which quite frankly, I DO begrudge. And quite frankly, is a pretty serious (but not unforgivable) sin outlined in Trump’s “favorite book”.

But the point is, I mean I can say, Trump is slept with 3 “trophy wives” and has been hand in hand with the highest level movers and shakers on Wall Street. He no doubt runs with a more and higher level “well-heeled sophisticated crowd” in New York and other parts of the world.

I mean, he’s the guy who said “wages” are too high and then said, “I meant the minimum wage.”

I’m not so much trying to just attack him as I am marveling at how people who decide to book a room to stay in the glass mansion never cease at throwing stones.

I don’t like Goldman Sachs

Now, I would argue that in real terms, MOST “campaign contributions” probably ARE bribes.

How else would we have gotten to such a crony capitalist, almost bordering in some ways fascist system of government?

Didn’t we all hate the establishment because those contributions were functioning as bribes?

Now we don’t? Now they’re not?

Color me confused by that.

But Cruz's wife is relevant? And you call Cruz a hypocrite. Do you even know what that word means?

Either cut the crap - your accusations this morning that Cruz is Canadian, a criminal, owned by big banks, etc. (see link below) - or you will lose lots and lots of conservatives. Save the liberal New York City bully tactics for the New York City liberals. Put down your computer keyboard for a few hours, think before you tweet, and collect yourself. You’re not politically invincible, regardless of the polls and media. I am already hearing more and more people getting fed up with the low road you’re taking against Cruz, which has obviously intensified this morning. You don’t need to attack his honor or attempt to smear his reputation. You can leave that to Mitch McConnell and the New York Times. Engage on real and substantive issues that matter to the country. Like I said, my friendly advice.

He did nail it.

The problem though is Donald is COMPLETELY out of his element talking substance beyond, “Wall” and “Attack ISIS”.

Sure, most Americans want those things. Credit to him for emphasizing them.

But on most talks of “issues” and “substance”, he’ll get obliterated by someone like Cruz.

I guess credit to him as well that he at least realizes that.

I have been guilty of being an obnoxious, crude, crass, overbearing and a total jerkofff asshole on many FR threads. That is my confession, but these Cruz vs Trump threads are becoming so inflammatory that I will take a break, get semi-sober and come back to other threads.

Our own people have become Donner Pass cannibals, please pass the thigh bone.

“And I’m sorry, but with a media fixation on Donald Trump, they’re choosing him as “our” candidate.”

I dont think it’s that so much as Trump knows the business, and knows all of the tricks.

He understands how to yank their cords and pull their levers. He also knows many of them, and some things they rather not have come to light.

But they dont “like” him. They just dont have any idea how to dent him after calling him every name in the book the first 4 months, and having it have no effect. Their stunned silence just looks like tacit approval.

Cruz’s wife is an executive at GS. Her employment no doubt facilitated the loan. Of course, Cruz’s wife is relevant. She was not at home baking cookies.
