The requirement to be a Senator is that they be 30 years old, have lived in the U.S. for 7 years and be a resident of the State they represent.

Just saw Bachmann on Christian tv. Wow, she is eloquent on the law and scripture. Darn shame the lefties in the gop refused to support her.

Obama: Born in Hawaii ( all that is disputed )
Mother: Born in the U.S.
Father: Born in Kenya
The bottom line is this — Are all four (with Obama in the mix) considered CITIZENS at the TIME of their birth?
Did anyone have to go through the naturalization process in order to become American?
If not, then all of them are citizens BY BIRTH and therefore, NATURAL BORN American citizens.
And all eligible to be POTUS under the constitution and current statute.
Trump just revealing his ignorance again. Just like with his answer on the nuclear triad question, this shows that governing is not his area of expertise.
Trump’s parents were citizens of the U.S. when he was born.
