Your right, but I think it’s a different time.

Don’t you think the GOPe strategy is to make it to two ballots? First ballot, delegates must vote according to actual candidates’ counts. After that, delegates are “free” to vote for whomever they choose. That’s the only way the Establishment can win and keep Trump or Cruz out.

That’s also why Jeb MUST stay in!

State Republican parties have been stacking delegates since the last election!

Multi-ballot?
If there are two ballots they will both have a Trump majority.

Trump is walking away the leader, nobody is touching him.

You need to check on the details (remember Mama telling you ‘the devil is in the details’?) of how SPECIFIC Republican delegates are selected from the different states. A significant number of the delegates from States in which Trump will win will be RINOs (selected in a rigged process by the local GOPe) who, while “bound” to support Trump on the first ballot, will be freed up on later ballots to vote for someone other than Trump. That’s why is IMPORTANT that in each state where Trump will win the biggest proportion of delegates that Ted Cruz harvests most of the remainder-—to deny the GOPe candidates the delegates. In some states, the delegates on the ballots are for different candidates...so you not only choose who you prefer for the Presidential nomination, but you also separately vote for the delegates you prefer. For example, in the 2012 primary, I could vote for my candidate and then I’d also vote for (up to three) some of the delegates on the ballot. The three delegates with the most votes would go to the convention. I think the Party set things up this way to help them keep some measure of control because, unfortunately, a significant number of primary voters will not have a clue which delegate(s) they should vote for.

Rove has switched from crack to meth. There will be a clear winner for the GOP nomination probably by Mid April at the latest. Trump will walk into the Convention with all the delegates he needs.

“Should Donald Trump, the current leader in most statewide and national polling, become the party’s pick, Rove predicted that the Democrats would maintain control of the White House for another four years”

This from the guy who was still scribbling on his chalkboard at 11PM election night 2012 figuring how Romney could still pull it out. LOL!
