Beatle Boots... I was 10 when the Beatles arrived in 1964. The screaming and fainting of the girls in the audience sparked my interest in anything the Beatles wore or did. I tried through several back-to-school shopping cycles to con my ma to let me get Beatle boots. To her credit, she refused.
We gals all know if you wear high heels it makes some of your pants too short. That’s what is happening here. If Rubio wore his normal footgear, his pants would be the right length, instead of “high waters”.

MOUSETRAPS! I remember them but haven’t thought of them in 50 years. Never knew that’s what they were called. I think I did have them because I can remember how that cheezy lever-action felt.
