I'm all for congress addressing the 10 hotdog/8 bun pack discrepancy. Think of the millions wasted each year and not to mention the sin of tossing the six leftover buns caused by having to buy two packs.

Two simple answers:

1) Buy 4 packs of hot dogs and 5 packs of buns

2) Buy "bun length" hot dogs which come in packs of 8, just like buns do

Frickin' bun manufacturers got wise, removed four buns from the twelve pack, and gave us eight to match the hot dogs, then they charged us the same price for eight buns as they did twelve before.

You’re proving my point....seemingly minor consumer annoyances can add-up to be more politically powerful than anyone realizes.

I could easily see the Fake Indian getting elected on ATM fees and hot dog buns.

Many Credit cards give 1% to 5% rewards back for using them.

Given that I use them for everything that I can.

Spend $4K over 6 months on it and they send you ~ $100 for it. (just an example)

You don't have a CC with these benefits?/

Since the subject of the thread was ATM fees—and people get cash from ATMs—it appeared you were saying you get “cash back” (as in, currency in your hand) when you use a credit card, just like a lot of us do when we use a debit card.

How about this :
1) With ATM withdrawals YOU PAY THEM to access your money
2) With credit cards they pay you to spend your $$$

Moral: Don't use cash unless you absolutely have to.

I never use ATMs unless its my own bank.
